I have heard (Author of Bahaar E Shariat) that this evil of cutting the hair of females has even started in Muslim homes.
Women with such haircuts tend to look like males, and it has been mentioned in the Hadith that the curse of Allah befalls that female whose appearance is like that of males.

मैंने सुना है (बहार ए शरिअत के लेखक ने) कि औरतो की बालों को काटने की यह बुरी बात मुस्लिम घरों में भी शुरू हुई है।
ऐसे बाल कटाने वाली औरतो मर्दो की तरह दिखती हैं, और हदीस में इसका ज़िक्र किया गया है कि जिन औरतो का दिखावा मर्दो की तरह होता है, अल्लाह का अज़ाब लाज़िम हो जाता है।
