Surah Number: 005 of 114
Surah Name: AL MA'IDAH meaning THE FOOD.
Aayat Number: 027 of 120
ال ماعدا: 027 -
وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ابْنَيْ آدَمَ بِالْحَقِّ إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَاناً فَتُقُبِّلَ مِن أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الآخَرِ قَالَ لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللّهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
अल-माइदा: 027 - और इन्हें आदम के दो बेटों का सच्चा वृतान्त सुना दो। जब दोनों ने क़ुरबानी की, तो उनमें से एक की क़ुरबानी स्वीकृत हुई और दूसरे की स्वीकृत न हुई। उसने कहा, "मै तुझे अवश्य मार डालूँगा।" दूसरे न कहा, "अल्लाह तो उन्हीं की (क़ुरबानी) स्वीकृत करता है, जो डर रखनेवाले है।
Al-Ma'idah: 027 - And recite to them the story of Adam's two sons, in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice [to Allah ], and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. Said [the latter], "I will surely kill you." Said [the former], "Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him].
