Allah, the Exalted, says:

“When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest, and you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes, then glorify the Praises of your Lord and ask His forgiveness. Indid, He is the One Who accepts the repentance and Who forgives.”

[Quran 110:1-3]

Upon the conquest, Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) gathered the people of Makkah and said to them: “What do you think I will do to you?” They answered: “You will only do something Favourable; you are a kind and generous brother, and a kind and generous nephew!” Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) said: “Go - you are free.”

This incredible act of forgiveness caused many to accept Islam. Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) then returned to Madinah. After a period of time, Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) intended to perform Hajj, so he headed towards Makkah with 114,000 Companions and performed Hajj. This Hajj is known as ‘Hajjatul-Wada’ or the ‘Farewell Pilgrimage’ since Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) never performed another Hajj, and died shortly after he performed it.

अल्लाह, सबसे महान फरमाता है:

"जब अल्लाह की सहायता आ जाए और विजय प्राप्त हो, और तुम लोगों को देखो कि वे अल्लाह के दीन (धर्म) में गिरोह के गिरोह प्रवेश कर रहे है, तो अपने रब की प्रशंसा करो और उससे क्षमा चाहो। निस्संदेह वह बड़ा तौबा क़बूल करनेवाला है."

[क़ुरान 110:1-3]

फ़तेह मक्का पर, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने मक्का के लोगो को जमा किया और उनसे कहा, "तुमको क्या लगता है की मैं तुम्हारे साथ क्या करुगा?" उन्होंने जवाब दिया, "आप ज़रूर कुछ बेहतर करेंगे; आप दयालु और उदार भाई हो, और दयालु और उदार भतीजे!" रसूलल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने कहा, "जाओ - तुम आज़ाद हो."

ये माफ़ करने की अविश्वसनीय अदा की वजह से काफी लोग इस्लाम क़ुबूल करते थे. रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) फिर मदीना लौट आये. एक लंबे अरसे के बाद, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने हज करने की निय्यत की, इसलिए आप मक्का की जानिब 114000 सहबियों को लेकर हज करने चल दिए. ये हज 'हज्जतुल विदा' के नाम से जाना जाता है क्योंकि रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) इसके बाद कभी हज नहीं कर पाए थे और हमे यतीम करके अपने रब के पास चले गए.

Allah, sabse Mahaan farmata hai:

”Jab Allah ki Madad aa jaaye aur Fateh Haasil ho, aur tum logo ko dekho ki ve Allah ke Deen (Dharm) mein Giroh ke Giroh Daakhil kar rahe hai, to Apne Rabb ki Taarif karo aur usse Maafi talab karo. Beshak vah Bada Tauba Qubool karnewala hai."

[Qur’an 110:1-3]

Fateh Makka par, Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ne Makka ke logo ko jama kiya aur unse kaha, “Tumko kya lagta hai ki main tumhare sath kya karuga?" Unhone Jawaab diya, "Aap Zaroor kuch behtar karege; Aap Dayaalu aur Udaar Bhai ho, aur Dayaalu aur Udaar Bhatije!" Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ne kaha, “Jaao - tum Aazad ho."

Ye Maaf karne ki Avishvasniya Adaa ki wajah se Kaafi log Islam Qubul karte the. Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) fir Madina lauṭ aaye. Ek Lambe Arse ke baad, Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ne Hajj karne ki Niyyat ki, Isliye Aap Makka ki Jaanib 114000 Sahabiyo ko lekar Hajj karne chal die. Ye Hajj 'Hajjatul Vida' ke naam se jana jata hai kyuki Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) iske baad kabhi Hajj nahi kar paaye the aur hame Yateem karke Apne Rabb ke paas chale gaye.

The society was strong and its people were rich in Faith, and they were extremely happy. People loved each other, and true brotherhood was apparent amongst its people. All people were equal; the rich, noble and poor, black and white, Arabs and non-Arabs they were all considered as equals in the religion of God, no distinction was made among them except through piety. 

After the Quraish learnt that the Prophet’s call had spread, they fought him in the first battle in Islam, the Battle of Badr. This battle took place between two groups unequal in preparations and weapons. The Muslims numbered 313; whereas, the pagans were 1000 strong. God gave victory to Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) and his Companions. 

After this battle, a number of battles took place between the Muslims and the pagans. After eight years, Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) was able to prepare an army 10,000 strong. They proceeded towards Makkah and conquered it, and with this Muhamamad (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) overcame the people who had harmed and tortured him and his Companions with every conceivable cruelty. In their fleeing for their lives, they had even been forced to leave their property and wealth behind. The year of this decisive victory is called ‘The Year of the Conquest.’

यहाँ का समाज मज़बूत था और लोग ईमान की बात में बहुत अमीर थे, वे बेहद खुश थे. लोग एक दूसरे से मुहब्बत रखते थे, और उनके लोगो में सही भाईचारा देखने को मिलता था. सब लोग एक सामान थे; अमीर, गरीब, सज्जन, काला, गोरा, अरब, अजम अल्लाह के दीन में सब लोग एक सामान माने जाते थे, ईमान की दौलत के सिवा उनके बिच कोई भेदभाद नहीं होता था.

जैसे ही क़ुरैश को ये मालूम होने लगा की रसूलअल्लाह पर लोग ईमान ला रहे है, तो उन्होंने आपसे इस्लाम के खिलाफ पहली जंग की, जंग ए बद्र. ये जंग दो समूहों के बीच हुई जो हथियार और तैयारी में असमान थी. मुस्लिम सिर्फ 313 थे; जबकि, काफिरो की तादाद 1000 थी. अल्लाह ने रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) और आपके सहाबी को फ़तेह हासिल करवाया.

ये जंग के बाद, मुस्लिमो और काफिरो के बीच बहुत सारी जंग होते रही. आठ साल बाद, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) खुद अपनी 10000 की मज़बूत फ़ौज तैयार कर पाए. आपकी फ़ौज मक्का की और बढ़ी और फ़तेह हासिल किया, और इसी के साथ रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) उनको भी बंधी बना लिया जिन्हों ने आपको और आपके सहाबियों को नुकशान पहुचाया और हर तरीक़ो से ज़ुल्म गुज़ारे थे. उनको अपनी जान बचने के खातिर, लोगो को अपने घर और जायदाद भी छोडजकर भागना पड़ा था. ये निर्णायक जीत के साल को 'फ़तेह का साल' से भी जाना जाता है.

Yaha ka Samaj Mazbut tha aur log Imaan ki baat mein bahut Ameer the, ve behad Khush the. Log ek Dusre se Muhabbat rakhte the, aur unke logo mein sahi Bhaichara dekhne ko milta tha. Sab log ek samaan the; Ameer, Gareeb, Sajjan, Kaala, Gora, Arabs, Ajam Allah ke Deen mein sab log ek samaan maane jate the, Imaan ki Daulat ke siva unke bich koi bhedbhav nahi hota tha. Jese hi Quraish  ko ye malum hone laga ki Rasool’Allah par log Imaan la rahe hai, to Unhone Aapse Islam ke khilaf pehli Jang ki, Jang E Badr. Ye Jang do samuho ke bich hui jo Hathyar aur Taiyari mein Abarabar thi. Muslim sirf 313 the; jabki, Kafiro ki tadad 1000 thi. Allah ne Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) aur Aapke Sahabi ko Fateh Haasil karvaya. Ye Jang ke baad, Muslimo aur Kafiro ke bich bahut sari Jang hote rahi. Aanth Saal baad, Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) khud Apni 10000 ki Mazbut Fauj Taiyar kar paaye. Apki Fauj Makka ki aur baḍhi aur Fateh Haasil kiya, aur isi ke sath Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) unko bhi bandhi bana liya jinho ne Aapko aur Aapke Sahabiyo ko Nukshan pohchaya aur har tariko se Zulm Guzare the. Unko Apni Jaan bachane ke khatir, logo ko Apne ghar aur jaydaad bhi Chodkar bhagna pada tha. Ye Nirnayak Jeet ke Saal ko 'Fateh ka Saal' se bhi jana jata hai.

These incidents did not stop Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) from calling to Islam. He preached this message to the many tribes that came to Makkah for Hajj. A few believed from the people of Yathrib (a small city north of Makkah), known today as Madina, and they pledged to support him and help him if he chose to migrate there. He sent with them Mus’ab bin UmAeyr to teach them the tenets of Islam. After all the hardships that the Muslims of Makkah faced from their own people, God granted them the permission to migrate to Madinah. The people of Madinah greeted them and received them in a most extraordinary manner. Madina became the capital of the new Islamic state, and the place from which the call to Islam was spread far and wide.

Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) settled there and taught people how to recite the Qur’an and the rulings of the religion. The inhabitants of Madinah were greatly moved and touched by the Prophet’s manners. They loved him more than they loved their own selves; they would rush to serve him, and they would spend all they had in the path of Islam.

ये सब किस्सो के बाद भी रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) लोगो को इस्लाम की दावत देने से रुके नहीं. आप हज के लिए आने वाले कई कबीलो को अल्लाह के इस पैग़ाम को पहुचाया. यथ्रीब (मक्का की उत्तर दिशा का एक शहर) जो आज मदीना से जाना जाता है, वहाँ के लोगो में से कुछ आप पर ईमान लाये, और उन्होंने कसम खायी की अगर आप मदीना हिजरत करते हो तो वो आपको साथ देंगे. आपने उनके साथ मुसअब बिन उमर को इस्लाम के सिद्धांतो को सीखने के लिए भेजा. मक्का के मुस्लिमो ने अपने ही लोगो से काफी ज़ुल्म सहने के बाद, अल्लाह ने उन्हें मदीना हिजरत करने की इज़ाज़त दी. मदीना के लोगो ने सबका बहुत अच्छे से इस्तेकबाल किया. मदीना इस्लामी हुक़ूमत की राजधानी बन गयी, और वहा से दूर दूर तक इस्लाम की दावत दी जाने लगी.

रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) वहा बस गए और लोगो को क़ुरान पढ़ने और और इस्लामी कानून की तालीम देने लगे. मदीना के लोग आपके स्वभाव से काफी प्रचलित हुए. वे आपको अपने खुद से ज्यादा चाहने लगे; वे आपकी खिदमत करने दौड़ते थे, और इस्लाम की राह में पूरा दिन गुज़ार लेते थे.

Ye sab kisso ke baad bhi Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) logo ko Islam ki Dawat dene se ruke nahi. Aap Hajj ke liye aane wale kai Kabilo ko Allah ke is Paigham ko pohchaya. Yathreeb (Makka ki uttar disha ka ek shahar) jo aaj Madina se jana jata hai, waha ke logo mein se kuch Aap par Imaan laye, aur Unhone Kasam khayi ki agar Aap Madina Hijrat karte ho to wo Aapko sath denge. Aapne unke sath musa_ab bin umar ko Islam ke sidhanto ko sikhane ke liye bheja. Makka ke Muslimo ne Apne hi logo se Kaafi Zulm sehne ke baad, Allah ne unhe Madina Hijrat karne ki Izazat di. Madina ke logo ne sabka bahut achhe se Isteqbal kiya. Madina Islami Huqumat ki Rajdhani ban gyi, aur waha se door door tak Islam ki Dawat di Jaane lagi. Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) waha bas gaye aur logo ko Qur’an padhne aur aur Islami Kanoon ki Talim dene lage. Madina ke log Aapke Swabhav se Kaafi Prachalit hue. Ve Aapko Apne khud se jyada chahne lage; ve apki Khidmat karne Daudte the, aur Islam ki Raah mein pura Din Guzaar lete the.

Muneeb al-Azdi, a companion of Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) said:

I saw Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) in the Era of Ignorance saying to people: “Say there is no god worthy of being worshipped except Allah if you would be successful.” There were those who spat in his face, those who threw soil in his face, and those who swore at him until midday. When [once] a Certain young girl came with a big Container of water, he washed his face and hands and say: “O daughter, do not fear that your father will be humiliated or struck by poverty.”

Abdullah bin Amr al-Aas, a companion of Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) was asked about some of the evil the pagans did to Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam), to which he replied:

[Once a pagan] approached Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) while he was praying near the Ka’bah and twisted his garment around his neck. Abu Bakr hurriedly approached and Grabbed his shoulder and pushed him away saying: “Do you kill a man because he Proclaims Allah as his Lord, and clear signs have come to you from your Lord?” (Bukhari 3643)

मुनीब अल आज़दी, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के एक सहाबी फरमाते है:

मैंने रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) को जहालत के दौर में देखा, आप लोगो को कह रहे थे, "अगर तुम लोग कामयाब हो गए तो कहो के अल्लाह के सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं है." उनमे से कुछ ने आपको थप्पड़ मारे, कुछ ने आपके मुह पे मिटटी फेकि और कुछ ने उनकी बातो को आधे दिन तक माना. एक बार एक छोटी बच्ची एक बड़ा बर्तन लेकर आपके पास आई और आपका मुह और हाथ को धो दिया, तो आपने कहा: "ए बेटी, डरना मत क्योंकि आपके वालिद पर अब कभी भी गरीबी हमला नहीं करेगी.

अब्दुल्लाह इब्ने अम्र अल आस, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के एक सहाबी से रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) पर बुतपरस्तो के ज़ुल्मो के बारे में पूछा गया, जिसपर आपने फरमाया:

एक बार [एक बुतपरस्त] ने रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) को जब आप काबा के पास इबादत करने गए तो रोका और आपके गले में कपडे से फांस देने की कोशिश की. अबू बक्र जल्दी से गए और उसका हाथ पकड़ लिया और उसे धक्का दे दिया और कहा: "क्या तुम एक आदमी को सिर्फ इसके लिए मारना चाहते हो ताकि वो अल्लाह को खुदा मानता हो, और उसको उसके रब की तरफ से साफ़ निशानिया आई हो."

Muneeb al-Azdi, Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ke ek Sahabi farmate hai:

Mene Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ko Jahalat ke daur mein dekha, Aap logo ko kah rahe the, “Agar tum log Kamyab ho gaye to kaho ke Allah ke siva koi Mabud nahi hai.” Unme se kuch ne Aapko Thappad maare, kuch ne Aapke muh pe Mitti feki aur kuch ne unki baato ko aadhe Din tak mana. Ek baar ek Choti Bacchi ek Bada bartan lekar Aapke paas aayi aur Aapka muh aur haath ko dho diya, to Aapne kaha “Aey Beti, Darna mat kyuki Aapke Walid par ab kabhi bhi Garibi hamla nahi karegi.

Abdullah bin Amr al-Aas, Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ke ek Sahabi se Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) par Butparasto ke Zulmo ke bare mein pucha gaya, jispar Aapne farmaya:

Ek baar [ek Butparast] ne Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ko jab Aap Kaaba ke paas Ibadat karne gaye to roka aur Aapke gale mein kapde se faans dene ki koshish ki. Abu Bakr jaldi se gaye aur uska haath pakad liya aur use dhakka de diya aur kaha “Kya tum ek Shakhs ko sirf iske liye maarna chahte ho taaki wo Allah ko Khuda maanta ho, aur usko uske Rabb ki taraf se saaf nishaniya aayi ho."

The religion of Islam is a complete way of life, which deals with religious, political, economical and social affairs. Furthermore, the religion of Islam did not only call them to worship God alone and to forsake all idols and things they worshipped; rather, it prohibited them from things they considered pleasureble, such as consuming interest and intoxicants, fornication, and gambling. It also called people to be just and fair with one another, and to know that there was no difference between them except through piety. How could the Quraish  [the most noble tribe amongst the Arabs] stand to be treated equally with the slaves! They did not only adamantly refuse to accept Islam; rather, they harmed him and blamed him, saying that he was crazy, a sorcerer and a liar. They blamed him with things they would dare not have before the advent of Islam. They incited the ignorant masses Against him, harmed him and tortured his companions. 

Abdullah bin Masud, a close companion of the Prophet said:

While Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) was stanDing up and praying near the Ka’bah, a group of Quraish were sitting in their sitting place, one of them said: “Do you see this man? Would someone bring the dirt and filth and bloody intestines from the camels of so and so, and wait till he prostrates, and then place it between his shoulders?” The most wretched amongst them volunteered to do it, and when Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) prostrated, he put the filth between his shoulders, so Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) stayed in prostration. They laughed so hard that they were about to fall on each other. Someone went to Fatimah who was a young girl, and in-formed her of what had happened. She hurriedly came towards Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) and removed the filth from his back, and then she turned around and she cursed the Quraish ites who were sitting in that sitting.

इस्लाम ज़िन्दगी जीने का तरीक़ा है, जो दीन (धर्म) के मामले में, राजकरण में, अर्थव्यवस्था में और निजी ज़िन्दगी में. और, इस्लाम ने लोगो को सिर्फ अल्लाह को अकेले इबादत करने को नहीं कहा मगर सभी मूर्ति की इबादत छोड़ देने को कहा है; उल्टा, इस्लाम ने वो सब हराम किया है जिससे लोगो को मज़े आते हो, जैसे ब्याज (सूद) खाना, नशे करना, औरतो के साथ ज़बरदस्ती करना और जुआ खेलना. इस्लाम लोगो को एक दूसरे के फैसले में ईमानदार और निष्पक्ष रहने को कहता है, और ये समझने को कहता है की उनके बीच अपने आमाल के अलावा कोई अंतर नहीं है.ये कैसे हो सकता था की क़ुरैश (अरब की सबसे ऊँची जात के लोग) गुलामो के साथ बराबर किये जाए! उन्होंने न तो सिर्फ इस्लाम को साफ़ साफ़ क़ुबूल करने से मना किया; बल्कि, आपको नुकशान पहुचाया और इलज़ाम लगाया, की आप पागल, जूठे और जादूगर हो. उन्होंने आप के ऊपर इलज़ाम लगाया उन चीजों के साथ जिनपे वे इस्लाम के आने से पहले कभी हिम्मत नहीं की थी. वे जाहिल लोगो को आपके खिलाफ भड़काते थे, आपको नुकसान पहुंचाते थे, और आपके सहाबी पे ज़ुल्म गुज़रते थे.

अब्दुल्लाह इब्ने मसूद, जो रसूलअल्लाह के करीबी सहाबी में से है फरमाते है:

जब रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) खड़े होकर काबा के सामे इबादत कर रहे थे, क़ुरैश का एक काबिल थोड़े दूर बैठा था, उनमे से एक बोला: "क्या तुम ये इंसान को देख रहे हो? क्या कोई ऊंट की होज़री और कीचड़ वगैरा लाकर, यहाँ उसके सजदे करने तक का इंतज़ार करके, उसके कंधो के बीच रख सकता है?" उनमे से सबसे कमीना था वो ये काम करने को राज़ी हो गया, और जब रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) सजदे में गए, उसने आपके पीठ पर वो गन्दी चीज़े रख दी, इसलिए रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) सजदे में ही रहे. वो इतनी ज़ोर से हँसने लगे के एक दूसरे पर गिरने लगे. कोई फातिमा के पास गया जब आप छोटी बच्ची थी, और सारा किस्सा बयान किया. आप जल्दी से रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के पास आये आपकी पीठ से वो गंदगी दूर की, फिर आप मुड़े और को कुरेशियो को लानत भेजी जो वह बैठे थे.

Islam Zindagi Jeeney ka Tarika  hai, jo Deen (Dharm) ke Mamle mein, Rajkaran mein, Artvyavastha mein aur Niji Zindagi mein. Aur, Islam ne logo ko sirf Allah ko akele Ibadat karne ko nahi kaha magar sabhi Murti ki Ibadat chhod dene ko kaha hai; Ulta, Islam ne wo sab Haraam kiya hai jisse logo ko maze aate ho, jese Byaaj (Sud) Khana, Nashe karna, Aurto ke sath Zabardasti karna aur Jua khelna. Islam logo ko ek Dusre ke Faisle mein Imaandar aur Nispaks rehne ko kehta hai, aur ye samajhane ko kehta hai ki unke bich Apne Aamal ke alawa koi antar nahi hai. Ye kese ho sakta tha ki Quraish  (Arabs ki sabse unchi Jaat ke log) Gulamo ke sath barabar kiye jaaye! Unhone n to sirf Islam ko saaf saaf Qubul karne se mana kiya; balki, Aapko Nukshan pohchaya aur Ilzam lagaya, ki Aap Pagal, Joothe aur Jadugar ho. Unhone Aap ke Upar Ilzam lagaya un chizo ke sath jinpe ve Islam ke aane se pehle kabhi Himmat nahi ki thi. Ve Jaahil logo ko Aapke khilaf bhadkate the, Aapko Nukshan pohchate the, aur Aapke Sahabi pe Zulm Guzarte the. Abdullah Ibne Masud, jo Rasool’Allah ke karibi Sahabi mein se hai farmate hai::

Jab Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) khade hokar Kaaba ke saame Ibadat kar rahe the, Quraish  ka ek Kabil thode door Betha tha, unme se ek bola: “Kya tum ye Shakhs ko dekh rahe ho? Kya koi Unt ki Hojri aur kichad vagera lakar, Yaha uske Sajde karne tak ka Intazar karke, uske Kandho ke bich rakh sakta hai?” Unme se sabse kaamina tha wo ye kaam karne ko Razi ho gaya, aur Jab Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) Sajde mein gaye, usne Aapke Peeth par wo gandi chize rakh di, Isliye Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) Sajde mein hi rahe. Wo itni Zor se Hasne lage ke ek Dusre par girne lage. Koi Fatima ke paas gaya jab Aap Choti Bacchi thi, aur sara kissa Bayaan kiya. Aap jaldi se Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ke paas aaye apki Peeth se wo Gandagi door ki, fir Aap mude aur ko Quraish iyo ko lanat bheji jo vah bethe the.

The chapter of the Qur’an quoted in the Hadith above marks the beginning when he was commissioned as a Prophet. God, the Exalted, then revealed to him:

*“O you (Muhammed) enveloped (in garments); Arise and warn! And your Lord (Allah) magnify! And your garments

purify!”*

(Quran 74:1-4)

This chapter of the Qur’an marks the beginning when he was commissioned as a Messenger. With the revelation of this chapter of the Qur’an, Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) began calling his nation to Islam openly. He began with his own people. Some of them refused adamantly to listen to him, for to them, he was calling to a matter which they had never witnessed before.

ऊपर की हदीस में बताया गया क़ुरान की वो सुरह जब आप को नबी का खिताब दिया गया था. अल्लाह, जो सबसे बड़ा है, फिर आप पर ये आयत नाज़िल करता है:

”ऐ ओढ़ने लपेटनेवाले! उठो, और (लोगो को) सावधान करने में लग जाओ और अपने रब की बड़ाई (तारीफ़) ही करो और अपने दामन को पाक रखो.”

(क़ुरान 74:1-4)

क़ुरान की ये सूरत निशानी है उस शुरुआत की जब आपको नबुव्वत का ख़िताब मिलने लगा. क़ुरान की ये सूरत के नाज़िल होने के साथ, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने अपने लोगो को इस्लाम की दावत देने की शुरुआत की. आपने अपने लोगो से शुरुआत की. काफी लोगो ने आपको सुनने से साफ़ मना कर दिया, उनके लिए, आप उन्हें उस तरह बुला रहे थे जिसे उन्होंने पहले कभी नहीं देखा.

Upar ki Hadees mein bataya gaya Qur’an ki wo Surah jab Aap ko Nabi ka Khitab diya gaya tha. Allah, jo sabse Bada hai, fir Aap par ye Aayat Nazil karta hai

”Aey Odhne Lapetnewalee! Utho, aur (logo ko) Savdhan karne mein lag jaao aur Apne Rabb ki Badhai (Tareef) hi karo aur Apne Daaman ko paak rakho.”

(Qur’an 74:1-4)

Qur’an ki ye Surat nishani hai us Shuruat ki jab Aapko Nabuvvat ka Khitab milne laga. Qur’an ki ye Surat ke Nazil hone ke sath, Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ne Apne logo ko Islam ki Dawat dene ki Shuruat ki. Aapne Apne logo se Shuruat ki. Kaafi logo ne Aapko sunne se saaf mana kar diya, unke liye, Aap unhe us tarah bula rahe the jise Unhone pehle kabhi nahi dekha.

Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) returned home trembling. He entered his home and told Hazrat Khadijah (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha): “Cover me up, cover me up!“ Hazrat Khadijah (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) covered Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) until he felt better. He then informed her about what happened to him in the Cave of Hira. He said, ”I was concerned about myself and my well-being.” Hazrat Khadijah (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) assured Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) saying:

“By God! You don’t have to worry! God, the Exalted, will never humiliate you! You are good to your kith and kin. You help the poor and needy. You are generous and hospitable to your guests. You help people who are in need.”

Hazrat Khadijah (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) took her husband Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) to a cousin of hers named Waraqah bin Nawfal bin Asad bin Abdul Uzza. This man became a Christian during the pre-Islamic times, known as the Era of Ignorance. He was a scribe, who wrote the Scripture in Hebrew. He was an old man who became blind at the latter part of his life. Hazrat Khadijah (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) said to her cousin, "O cousin, listen to what your nephew [i.e. Muhammed] is about to tell you!“ Waraqah said: "What is it you have seen, dear nephew?“ Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) informed him of what he had seen in the Cave of Hira. Upon hearing his report, Waraqah said, “By God! This is the Angel Gabriel who came to Prophet Moses, may God Praise him. I wish I would be alive when your people will drive you out of Makkah!” Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) wondered: ”Are they going to drive me out of Makkah?!” Waraqah affirmed positively saying, “Never has a man conveyed a Message similar to what you have been charged with, except that his people waged war Against him - if I am to witness this, I will support you.”

Waraqah lived only a short period after this incident and passed away. Revelation also stopped for a while.’

रसूलल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ध्रुजते हुए घर लौटे. आप घर में दाखिल हुए और हज़रत खदीजा (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हा) से कहा: "मुझे ढँक लो, मुझे ढँक लो!" हज़रत खदीजा (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हा) ने रसूलल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) को ढँक लिया जबतक आप बेहतर महसूस न करने लगे. आपने फिर उन्हें गार ए हिरा में उनके साथ हुआ मामला ब्यान किया. आपने कहा, "मैं खुद की हिफाज़त के बारे में परेशान था." हज़रत खदीजा (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हा) ने रसूलल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) को भरोसा दिलाया और कहा: "अल्लाह कि कसम! आपको घबराने की ज़रुरत नहीं! अल्लाह, जो सबसे महान है, वो आपको कभी रुस्वा नहीं करेगा! आप अपने रिस्तेदारो और दोस्तों से अच्छा सुलूक करते हो. आप गरीबो और ज़रुरतमंदो की मदद फरमाते हो. आप अपने मेहमानों के साथ उदार दिल हो और अछि मेहमान नवाज़ी करते हो.आप लोगो की मदद करते हो जिन्हें आपकी ज़रुरत है."

हज़रत खदीजा (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हा) ने अपने शोहर रसूलल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) को लेकर अपने एक चचेरे भाई के पास ले गए जिनका नाम वराका बिन नवफात बिन असद बिन अब्दुल उज़्ज़ा था. ये आदमी इस्लामी दौर से पहले ईसाई बन गए थे जीसे जाहिलियत का दौर भी कहा जाता है. वे एक मुंशी थे जो हिब्रू भाषा में धर्मग्रंथ लिखता था. वे एक बूढ़े इंसान थे जो पिक्ली ज़िन्दगी में अंधे हो गए. हज़रत खदीजा (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हा) ने अपने चचेरे भाई से कहा, "ए मेरे भाई, सुनो आपका भतीजा (मुहम्मद) आपको क्या कह रहा है." वराका ने कहा: "प्यारे भतीजे, बातैये मुझे की आपने क्या देखा?"

रसूलल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने उन्हें गार ए हिरा का पूरा किस्सा सुना दिया. आपकी बात सुनने परम वराका बोल उठे,

"अल्लाह की कसम! ये तो फरिस्ता जिब्रील है जो मूसा (अलैहिस्सलाम) के पास आये थे. काश मैं उस वक़्त तक ज़िंदा रहु जब आपके लोग आपको मक्का से बाहर कर देंगे!" रसूलल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) सोच में गिर गए, "क्या सच में ये लोग मुझे मक्का से बाहर कर देंगे?!" वराका ने स्वीकारात्मक राय दी और कहा, " कोई भी इंसान कभी भी ऐसा पैगाम दे नहीं पाया है जिसके लिए आपको चुना गया है, और लोगो ने उनसे जंग की थी - अगर मैं इस बात का गवाह रहा, तो मैं आपका साथ दूंगा."

इस किस्से के बाद, वरक़ा कुछ ही दिन ज़िंदा रहे और फिर उनकी मौत हो गयी. इसके बाद कुछ वक़्त तक वहि आनी भी रुक गयी.'

Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) Dhujte hue ghar lauṭe. Aap ghar mein daakhil hue aur Hazrat Khadija (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) se kaha "mujhe dhak lo, mujhe dhak lo!" Hazrat Khadija (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) ne Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ko dhak liya jabtak Aap behtar mehsus n karne lage. Aapne fir unhe Gaar E Hira mein unke sath hua Mamla Bayaan kiya. Aapne kaha, "Main khud ki Hifazat ke bare mein Pareshan tha." Hazrat Khadija (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) ne Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ko Bharosa dilaya aur kaha "Allah ki Kasam! Aapko Ghabrane ki Zarurat nahi! Allah, jo sabse Mahaan hai, wo Aapko kabhi Rusva nahi karega! Aap Apne Ristedaro aur Dosto se accha sulook karte ho. Aap Garibo aur Zaruratamndo ki madad farmate ho. Aap Apne Mehmano ke sath Udaar dil ho aur achhi Mehman Nawazi karte ho. Aap logo ki madad karte ho jinhe apki Zarurat hai."

Hazrat Khadija (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) ne Apne shohar Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ko lekar Apne ek Chachere Bhai ke paas le gaye jinka naam Waraqah bin Nawfal bin Asad bin Abdul Uzza tha. Ye Shakhs Islami daur se pehle Isaai ban gaye the jise Jahiliyat ka daur bhi kaha jata hai. Ve ek Munshi the jo Hibru Bhasha mein Dharmgranth likhta tha. Ve ek Budhe Shakhs the jo pichli Zindagi mein andhe ho gaye. Hazrat Khadija (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) ne Apne Chachere Bhai se kaha, "Aey Mere Bhai, suno Aapka Bhatija (Muhammed) Aapko kya kah raha hai." Waraqah ne kaha "Pyare Bhatije, batayye mujhe ki Aapne kya dekha?"

Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ne unhe Gaar E Hira ka pura kissa suna diya. Apki baat sunne par Waraqah bol uṭhe,

"Allah ki Kasam! Ye to Farista Jibril hai jo Musa (Alaihissalam) ke paas aaye the. Kash main us Waqt tak Zinda rahu jab Aapke log Aapko Makka se bahar kar denge!" Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) soch mein gir gaye, “Kya Sach mein ye log mujhe Makka se bahar kar denge?!" Waraqah ne Qubulatmak rai di aur kaha, " koi bhi Shakhs kabhi bhi Esa Paigham de nahi paya hai jiske liye Aapko chuna gaya hai, aur logo ne unse Jang ki thi - Main is baat ka Gawaah raha, toh main Aapka sath dunga."

Iss Kisse ke baad, Waraqah kuch hi Din Zinda rahe aur fir unki Maut ho gyi. Iske baad kuch Waqt tak Wahi aani bhi ruk gyi.'

Later on, Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) began to love being alone in meditation. He spent lengthy periods for days and nights to fulfill this purpose in the cave before returning back to his family. He would take a supply of food for his trip. When he came back to his wife Hazrat Khadijah (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) he would get a fresh supply of food and go back to the same cave to continue his meditation.

The Truth came to him while he was in the Cave of Hira. The Angel Gabriel came to Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) and commanded him to read. Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) repliyed, “I cannot read!” Gabriel embraced Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) until he could not breathe, and then let him go saying, “O Muhammed! Read!” Again, Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) repliyed, “I cannot read!” Gabriel embraced Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) for the second time. He then ordered him to read for the third time, when he did not he embraced him tightly until he could not breathe, and then released him saying, “O Muhammed! Recite with the Name of Your Lord Who has created (all that exists). He has created man out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous.”

उसके बाद, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) को अकेले रहकर इबादत करने में मज़ा आने लगा. आप अपने परिवार के पास जाने से पहले गार ए हिरा में दिन और रात का लंबा अरसा गुजरने लगे. आप अपने सफर के लिए ज़रुरत जितना खाना लेकर जाते थे. जब आप अपनी बीवी उम्मुल मोमिनीन हज़रत खदीजा (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हा) के पास जाते थे तो आप उनके पास से खाने का नया सामन लेकर फिरसे गार में चले जाते थे और अपनी इबादत में मशगूल हो जाते थे.

जब आप गार ए हिरा में थे तब आपको सच और हक़ की बात का पता चला. जिब्रील (अलैहिस्सलाम) रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के पास आये और आपको पढ़ने का हुक्म दिया. रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने जवाब दिया, "मुझे पढ़ना नहीं आता!" जिब्रील ने रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) को गले से लगाया जबतक आपको सांस लेने में तकलीफ होने लगी, और फिर आपको छोड़ा और कहा, "ए मुहम्मद! पढ़ो!" फिरसे, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने कहा, "मुझे पढ़ना नहीं आता!" जिब्रील ने रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) को दूसरी मर्तबा गले से लगाया. उसके बाद फिर उसने आपको पढ़ने का हुक्म दिया, जब आप नहीं पढ़ सके तो उसने फिरसे आपको गले से लगाया और फिर अलग करके कहा, ”पढ़ो, अपने रब के नाम के साथ जिसने सारी चीज़ो को पैदा किया, मनुष्य को जमे हुए ख़ून के एक लोथड़े से पैदा किया. पढ़ो, हाल यह है कि तुम्हारा रब बड़ा ही उदार है.”

Jibril ne Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ko gale se lagaya jabtak Aapko saans lene men takaleef hone lagee, aur fir Aapko choda aur kaha, "Aey Muhammed! Paḍho!" firse, Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ne kaha, "mujhe padhna nahi aata!" Jibril ne Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ko dusri martaba gale se lagaya. Uske baad fir usne Aapko padhne ka Hukm diya, jab Aap nahi paḍh sake to usne firse Aapko gale se lagaya aur fir alag karke kaha, ”Padho, Apne Rabb ke naam ke saath jisne sari chizo ko paida kiya, Insaan ko jame hue Khun ke ek lothde se paida kiya. Padho, haal Yeh hai ki tumhara Rabb bada hi udar hai.”

Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) liked to seclude himself in the Cave of Hira before he was commissioned as a prophet. He would stay there many nights at a time. He never partook in any falsehood; he never drank intoxi-cants, nor did he ever bow to a statue or idol, take an oath by them or offer to them an offering. He was a shepherd over a flock of ship which belonged to his people. Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) said:

‘Every prophet commissioned by God was a shepherd over a flock of ship.’ His companions asked him: ‘Even you, Yaa Rasool’Allah?’ He said: ‘Yes, I would take care of a flock of ship for the people of Makkah.’

At the age of forty, Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) received divine revelation when at the cave of Hira. The Mother of the beliyevers, Hazrat Ayesha (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anha) said:

The first thing that Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) received while in the Cave of Hira in Makkah were good visions [dreams]. Every time he had a dream, it would come true and clear like the split of the dawn.

नबी का खिताब मिलने से पहले, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) दुनिया से दूर गार ए हिरा में रहना पसंद करते थे. आप एक साथ वहाँ कई रातो तक रहते थे. आपने कभी किसी गलत काम में हिस्सा नहीं लिया. कभी नशे वाली चीज़ नहीं पी, न कभी आपने बूतो और मूर्तियों को सजदा किया, या उनसे कसम खाई या उन्हें कुछ चढ़ाया. आप एक भेड़ के झुंड के चरवाहे थे जो आपके लोगो के थे. रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने कहा:

'अल्लाह ने जितने भी रसूल भेजे वह एक भेड़ के झुंड के चरवाहे थे.' आपके साथी ने आपको पूछा: 'या रसूलअल्लाह, क्या आप भी ऐसे हो?' आपने जवाब दिया: 'हाँ, मैं मक्का के लोगो के भेड़ के झुंड चराना पसंद करुगा.'

चालीस साल की उम्र में, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) पर गार ए हिरा में क़ुरान की आयत का नाज़िल होना शुरू हुआ. उम्मुल मोमिनीन, हज़रत आयेशा (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हा) फरमाती है:

रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) को गार ए हिरा में सबसे पहले अच्छे अच्छे ख्वाब आने लगे. जब भी आपको ख्वाब आता था, तो वो सच हो जाता था और इतना साफ़ जैसे सुबह की पहली किरण.

But, from an early age, he had been remarked as a Thoughtful Man. His companions named him "Al Amin, The Faithfull." A Man of Truth and Fidelity; True in what he did, in what he Spoke and Thought. कम उम्र में ही आप एक विचारशील व्यक्ति से पहचाने जाने लगे. आपके साथी ने आपको "अल अमिन, वफादार" का नाम दिया. हक़ और वफादारी वाला इंसान; जो भी करते थे वो हक़ के हिसाब से करते थे, और बोलने और सोचने में भी. उन्होंने देखा की आप जो कहते थे उसका ज़रूर कुछ मतलब होता था. एक आदमी नहीं बल्कि भाषण में अल्पभाषी. शांत रहते जब कुछ कहने को नहीं होता था; लेकिन जब भी आप बात करते थे तो उचित, समझदारी, ईमानदारी से; हमेशा मामले पर रौशनी डालकर. ये सब सिर्फ कहने के लिए है! आपकी पूरी ज़िन्दगी से हम आपको ठोस, स्नेहमय, एकदम निखलास इंसान से जानते है. एक गंभीर, ईमानदार चरित्र, हमेशा मैत्रीपूर्ण, हार्दिक, मिलनसार, और चंचल भी - जिनके साथ थोड़ा हंसी भी हो जाया करती थी: ऐसे इंसान भी है जिनकी हंसी सच नहीं है, जो हंसी नहीं कर सकते हैं. एक सहज, उत्साही, निष्पक्ष, वास्तविक अर्थ में सही इंसान! अशिष्ट शक्ति से भरा हुआ, आग और प्रकाश; अशिष्टों के साथ, सभी असभ्य; वहाँ के रण की गहराई में से उनके जीवन को उजाले में ले जाते है.

Place of Birth and Childhood

Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) was born in the year 571 C.E. into the tribe of Quraish [held noble by all Arabs], in Makkah [the religious capital of the Arabsian Peninsula].

The Arabs would perform pilgrimage to Makkah and circum-ambulate the Ka’bah which was built by Prophet Abraham and his son, Prophet Ishmael, may God Praise them both.

Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) was an orphan. His father passed away before he was born, and his mother died when he was six years old. He was taken under the care of his grandfather, Abdul-Muttalib, and when he died, his uncle, Abu Talib, took charge of him. His tribe, as well as others, worshipped idols made from stone, wood and even gold. Some of these idols were placed around the Ka’bah. People beliyeved that these idols could ward off harm or extend benefit.

Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) was a trustworthy and honest person. He never behaved treacherously, nor did he liye or cheat; he was known amongst his people as ‘Al-Amin’, or ‘The Trustworthy’. People would entrust him with their valuables when they wanted to travel. He was also known as ‘As-Sadiq’ or ‘The Truthful’ for he never told a liye. He was well-mannered, well-spoken, and he loved to help people. His people loved and revered him and he had beautiful manners. Allah Ta’Ala, the Exalted, says:

Indeed you are of a great moral character.

आपकी विलादत और बचपन

रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) की विलादत ईस्वी 571 में क़ुरैश  (अरब में सबसे बेहतर) के काबिले में, मक्का (अरब प्रायद्वीप की धार्मिक राजधानी) में हुआ.

अरब मक्का में अपनी तीर्थ यात्रा करते और काबा का तवाफ़ करते जो हज़रत इब्राहिम और आपके बेटे हज़रत इश्माएल (अलैहिस्सलाम) ने तामीर की थी. 

रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) यतीम थे. आपके वालिद का इन्तेक़ाल आपकी विलादत से पहले हो चूका था, और जब आप 6 साल के हुए तब आपकी वालिदा का इन्तेक़ाल हो गया था. आप अपने दादा, अब्दुल मुताल्लिब के साये में बड़े होने लगे और जब आपके दादा का विसाल हो गया तो आपके चाचा अबू तालिब ने आपको संभाला. आपके काबिले वाले और दुसरे भी बूत की इबादत करते थे जो पत्थर, लकड़ी या सोने का बना हुआ करता था. इनमे से कई तो काबा के पास रक्खे गए थे. लोगो का मानना था की ये मूर्ति उनके सारे काम कर देगी और नफा पहुचायेगी.

रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) भरोसेमंद और ईमानदार थे. आपने कभी किसी का विश्वासघात नहीं किया, न ही आप झूठ बोलते थे या धोखा किया, आप आपके लोगो के बीच 'अल-अमीन' से जाने जाते थे जिसका मतलब है 'भरोसेमंद'. जब लोग सफर पे जाना चाहते थे तो वे अपना कीमती सामन आपको सौंप कर जाते थे. आप कभी झूठ नहीं बोलते थे इसलिए आपको 'सादिक' या 'सच्चा' के नाम से भी जाना जाता था. आप सब से अच्छी तरह से व्यवहार किया करते थे, सच बोला करते थे, और आप लोगों को प्यार से मदद करते थे. लोग आपको प्यार करते थे और क्योंकि आप एक सुंदर शिष्टाचार वाले थे.

अल्लाह त'आला, जो सबसे ऊंचा है, फरमाते है:

बेशक, आप एक महान नैतिक चरित्र के हैं।

Abu Sufyan added, “When Hercules had finished his speech, there was a great hue and cry caused by the Byzantine dignitaries surround-ing him, and there was so much noise that I did not understand what they said. So, we were ordered out of the court.” When I went out with my companions and we were alone, I said to them, ‘Verily, Ibn Abi Kabsha’s (i.e. the Prophet’s) affair has gained power. This is the King of the Romeans fearing him.’ ”
Abu Sufyan added: “By God, I became surer and surer that his religion would be victorious till I ended up accepting Islam.”

अबु सुफ़यान ने कहा, "जब हरक्यूलिस ने अपना भाषण ख़त्म कर लिया, तो उनके दरबार में बैठे बाइजेंटाइन के ऊँचे लोगो में हलचल मच गयी, वह इतना शोर बढ़ गया की मुझे कुछ सुनाई नहीं दिया की वो लोग क्या बोल रहे थे. इसलिए, हमें दरबार से बाहर जाने का हुक्म हुआ." जब मैं मेरे साथियो के साथ बाहर निकले और हम अकेले थे, तो मैंने उनसे कहा, 'बेशक, इब्ने अबी कबशा (रसूलअल्लाह) के मामले ने सत्ता हासिल की. यह रूमियों के राजा है जो उनसे डर गए.'"
अब सुफ़यान ने फिर कहा, "अल्लाह की कसम, मुझे ज्यादा यकीन होने लगा की आपका दीन फ़तेह हासिल करेंगे जबतक मैं इस्लाम क़ुबूल करूँगा."

Isliye, hame Darbar se bahar jaane ka Hukm hua." "Jab main mere Sathiyo ke saath bahar nikale aur ham akele the, to mene unse kaha, 'Beshak, Ibne Abi Kabsha (Rasool’Allah) ke mamle ne Sattaa haasil ki. Yeh Rumiyo ke Raja hai jo unse Darr gaye.'"
Abu Sufyan ne fir kaha, "Allah ki kasam, mujhe jyada yakin hone laga ki aapka deen Fateh haasil karege Jabtak main Islam Qubul karunga."

Abu Sufyan added, “Hercules then asked for the letter of Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) and it was read. Its contents were the following: “I begin with the name of God, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful [This letter is] from Muhammed, the slave of God, and His Messenger, to Hercules, the Ruler of the Byzantine. Peace be upon the followers of guidance. I invite you to Islam [i.e. surrender to God]). Accept Islam and you will be safe; accept Islam and God will bestow on you a double reward. But if you reject this invitation of Islam, you shall be responsible for misguiDeeng the peasants [i.e. your nation].”
“O people of the Scriptures! Come to a word common between  you and us, that we worship God, and that we associate nothing in worship with Him; and that none of us shall take others as Gods besides God. Then if they turn away, say: Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered [unto Him]”

अबु सुफ़यान ने कहा, "हरक्यूलिस ने फिर मुझसे रसूलल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने भेज हुआ खत माँगा और उसे पढ़ा. उसके अल्फ़ाज़ इस तरह थे: “मैं अल्लाह के नाम से शुरू करता हूँ, जो सबसे परोपकारी है, सबसे कृपालु हैं. [यह पत्र है] मुहम्मद की तरफ से, अल्लाह के ग़ुलाम और उनके सन्देश पहुचने वाला, हरक्यूलिस के लिए, बाइजेंटाइन के शासक। सलामती हो उनपर जो बताये गए रास्ते पर है। मैं इस्लाम क़ुबूल करने की दावत देता हूँ [मतलब: अल्लाह के प्रति समर्पण]। आप इस्लाम स्वीकार करें और आप सुरक्षित हो जाएगा; आप इस्लाम स्वीकार करें और अल्लाह आपको दुगुना इनाम प्रदान करेगा। लेकिन अगर आप इस्लाम के इस निमंत्रण का अस्वीकार करते हैं, तो आप जिम्मेदार होंगे आपकी कौम के लोगो [अर्थात अपने देश के लोगो] की गुमराही के लिए।“
कहो, "ऐ किताबवालो! आओ एक ऐसी बात की ओर जिसे हमारे और तुम्हारे बीच समान मान्यता प्राप्त है; यह कि हम अल्लाह के अतिरिक्त किसी की बन्दगी न करें और न उसके साथ किसी चीज़ को साझी ठहराएँ और न परस्पर हममें से कोई एक-दूसरे को अल्लाह से हटकर रब बनाए।" फिर यदि वे मुँह मोड़े तो कह दो, "गवाह रहो, हम तो मुस्लिम (आज्ञाकारी) है।"

Abu Sufyan ne kaha, "Hercules ne fir mujse Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ne bhej hua khat manga aur use padha. Uske Alfaz is tarah the: “Main Allah ke naam se shuru karta hu, jo sabse Rehmat wala hai, sabse Kareem hai. [Yeh Khat hai] Muhammed ki taraf se, Allah ke Gulam aur unke PAeygamber, Hercules ke liye, Byzantine ke Badshah. Salamati ho unpar jo bataye gaye Raste par hai.main Islam Qubul karne ki Dawat deta hu [Yaani Allah ki Ibadat]. Aap Islam Qubul kare aur aap Mehfuz ho jayege; aap Islam Qubul kare aur Allah aapko Dugn Inaam ataa karega. Lekin agar aap Islam ke is Dawat ko Qubul nahi karte hai, to aap Zimmedar honge apki Quam ke logo [matlab Apne Mulk ke logo] ki Gumrahi ke liye.
Kaho, "Aey Kitabwalo! Aao ek Esi baat ki aur jise hamare aur tumhare bich baRabbar hai; Yeh ki ham Allah ke siva kisi ki Bandagi n kare aur n uske saath kisi chiz ko sajhi thehraye aur n paraspar humme se koi Ek Dusre ko Allah se hatkar Rabb banye." fir yadi ve Muhh mode to kah do, "Gawaah raho, ham to Muslim (Farmabardar) hai."

When I asked you whether you fought with him and he fought with you, you replied that he did and that sometimes he was victorious and sometimes you. Indid, such are the Messengers; they are put to trials and the final victory is always theirs. Then I asked you what he ordered you. You replied that he ordered you to worship God alone and not to worship others along with Him, to leave all that your fore-fathers used to worship, to offer prayers, to speak the truth, to be chaste, to kip pRomeises, and to return what is entrusted to you. These are really the qualities of a prophet who, I knew [from the previous Scriptures] would appear, but I did not know that he would be from amongst you. If what you say is true, he will very soon occupy the earth under my feet, and if I knew that I would reach him definitely, I would go immediately to meet him; and were I with him, then I would certAeynly wash his feet.’”

जब मैंने पूछा की तुम्हारी उनसे कभी लड़ाई हुई है और उसका क्या अंजाम हुआ तो तुमने बताया की हाँ कभी वो फ़तेह हासिल करते थे कभी हम. असल में, ऐसे होते है अल्लाह के रसूल; इन्हें इसी तरह आज़माया जाता है और आखिर में उनको फ़तेह हासिल होता है. फिर मैंने पूछा की वो तुम्हे क्या हुक्म देता है, तो तुमने बताया की वो तुम्हे अकेले अल्लाह की इबादत करने और किसी और को उसमे शरीक न करने, और तुम्हारे बाप दादा जिस बूतो की इबादत करते थे उसे बंध करने, नमाज़ पढ़ने, सदक़ा देने, सच बोलने, ईमानदार रहने, वादा निभाने का हुक्म देता है. ये एक सच्चे नबी की निशानी है जैसा की मैंने अगले नबियो को (अगली किताबो से) पाया, मगर मुझे पता नहीं था की आप उनमे से होंगे. अगर जैसा तुम कह रहे हो वो सही है, तो वो जल्द ही दुनिया को अपने कदमो के नीचे ले आएंगे, और अगर मैं जान लेता तो मैं उनके पास पक्का पहुँच जाता, मैं जल्दी से उनको मिलने जाता; और उनके साथ रहता, और फिर मैं उनके कदमो को धोता.'"

Jab mene pucha ki tumhari unse kabhi ladai hui hai aur uska kya Anjaam hua to tumne bataya ki haan kabhi wo Fateh haasil karte the kabhi ham. Asal men, Aeyse hote hai Allah ke Rasool; inhe isi tarah Aazmaya jata hai aur aakhir mein unko Fateh haasil hota hai. Fir mene pucha ki wo tumhe kya Hukm deta hai, to tumne bataya ki wo tumhe akele Allah ki Ibadat karne aur kisi aur ko karne Shariq n karne, aur tumhare Baap Dada jis Buto ki Ibadat karte the use bandh karne, Namaz padhne, Sadqa dene, Sach bolne, Imaandar rehne, Wada nibhane ka Hukm deta hai. Ye ek Sachche Nabi ki nishani hai jesa ki mene agle Nabiyo ko (agli Kitabo se) paya, magar mujhe pata nahi tha ki aap unme se honge. Agar jesa tum kah rahe ho wo sahi hai, to wo jald hi Duniya ko Apne Kadmo ke niche le aaenge, aur agar Main jaan leta tomain unke paas pakka pahunch jata, Main jaldi se unko milne jata; aur unke saath rehta, aur firmain unke Kadmo ko dhota.'"

Then I asked you whether any of his ancestors was a king. Your reply was in the negative, and if it had been in the affirmative, I would have thought that this man wanted to take back his ancestral kingdom. When I asked you whether the rich or the poor people followed him, you replied that it was the poor who followed him. In fact, such are the followers of the Messengers. Then I asked you whether his followers were increasing or decreasing. You replied that they were increasing. In fact, this is the result of true faith till it is complete [in all respects]. I asked you whether there was anybody who, after embracing his religion, became displeased and discarded his religion; your reply was in the negative. In fact, this is the sign of true faith, for when its pleasure enters and mixes in the hearts completely; nobody will be displeased with it. I asked you whether he had ever broken his pRomeise. You replied in the negative. And such are the Messengers; they never break their pRomeises.

फिर मैंने तुमसे पूछा की अगर उसके पुरखे में कोई बादशाह था तो तुम्हारा जवाब ना था, अगर ये हाँ में होता तो मैं सोचता की ये आदमी को राज करने की लालच है जैसे उसके पुरखे करते थे. फिर मैंने तुमसे पूछा की उसकी पैरवी करने वाले अमीर है या गरीब, तो तुमने बताया की वो गरीब है जो उसकी पैरवी करते है. असल में, ऐसे ही होते है अल्लाह के रसूल. फिर मैंने तुमसे पूछा की उनके मानने वाले बढ़ रहे है या घट रहे है, तो तुमने बताया की बढ़ रहे है. असल में, यही सच्चे ईमान की निशानी है जब तक वो मुक़म्मल हो जाए. मैंने तुमसे पूछा की, है कोई इस जो उसपे ईमान लाने के बाद नाराज़ होकर फिरसे काफ़िर हो गया तो तुमने कहा नहीं. असल में, ये सहीह दीन की निशानी है, की जब उसका मज़ा सीने में उतरता है तो दिल को नूर नूर कर देता है. मैंने तुमसे पूछा की उसने कभी उसके वादे तोड़े है तो तुमने बताया नहीं और ऐसे ही होते है अल्लाह के सच्चे रसूल; वो कभी अपना वादा नहीं तोड़ते.

Fir maine Tumse pucha ki agar uske Purkhe mein koi Badshah tha to tumhara Jawab naa tha, agar ye haan mein hota to main sochta ki ye Aadmi ko Raaj karne ki lalach hai jaise uske Purkhe karte the. Fir maine Tumse pucha ki uski Pervi karne wale Amir hai yaa Garib, to tumne bataya ki woh Garib hai jo uski Pervi karte hai. Asal men, aise hi hote hai Allah ke Rasool. Fir maine Tumse pucha ki unke manne wale baḍh rahe hai yaa ghaṭ rahe hai, to tumne bataya ki baḍh rahe hai. Asal men, yahi sachche Imaan ki Nishani hai jab tak woh Muqammal ho jaaye. Maine Tumse pucha kee, hai koi is jo uspe Imaan laane ke baad Naaraz hokar firse Kaafir ho gaya to tumne kaha nahi. Asal men, ye Sahih Deen ki Nishani hai, ki jab usaka mazaa seene mein utarataa hai to dil ko Noor Noor kar deta hai. Maine Tumse pucha ki usne kabhi uske Wade tode hai to tumne bataya nahi aur aise hi hote hai Allah ke sachche Rasool; woh kabhi apna Wada nahi todte.

Abu Sufyan added, ”Other than the last sentence, I could not say anything against him.” ”Hercules then asked, ’Have you ever had a war with him?’ I replied, ’Yes.’ He said, ’What was the outcome of your bat-tles with him?’ I replied, ’Sometimes he was victorious and sometimes we.’ He said, ’What does he order you to do?’ I said, ’He tells us to worship God alone, and not to worship others along with Him, and to leave all that our fore-fathers used to worship. He orders us to pray, give in charity, be chaste, keep pRomeises and return what is entrusted to us.’”

When I had said that, Hercules said to his translator, “Tell him: I asked you about his lineage and your reply was that he belonged to a noble family. In fact, all the Messengers came from the noblest lineage of their nations. Then I questioned you whether anybody else amongst you had claimed such a thing, and your reply was in the negative. If the answer had been in the affirmative, I would have thought that this man was following a claim that had been said before him. When I asked you whether he was ever blamed for telling lies, your reply was in the negative, so I took it for granted that a person who did not tell a liye to people could never tell a liye about God.

अबु सुफ़यान ने और कहा, "आखिरी शब्दो के बाद मैं उसके खिलाफ कुछ न कह सका." हरक्यूलिस ने फिर पूछा, "क्या तुमने कभी उनसे जंग की है?" मैंने कहा, "हाँ." उसने कहा, "जंग के क्या फैसले हुए है?" मैंने कहा, "कभी वो फ़तेह होता था तो कभी हम." उसने कहा, "वो तुमको क्या करने को कहता है?" मैंने कहा, "वो हमें अल्लाह की इबादत करने, और अल्लाह के साथ किसी को शरीक नहीं करने, और हमारे बाप दादा के बूतो को पूजने से मना करता है. वह हमें इबादत करने, सदक़ा देने, नेक रहने, किये वादे को निभाने और वो चीज़ लौटा देने को कहता है जो लोग भरोसे से छोड़ कर जाते है."

जब मैंने उससे ये सब कह दिया, तो हरक्यूलिस ने अपने तर्जुमे वाले से कहा, "बतादो इसे: मैंने तुमसे उनके पुरखे के बारे में पूछा और तुमने जवाब दिया की वो एक सज्जन परिवार से है. असल में, सारे नबी अपने वक़्त के सबसे अच्छे पुरखे में से है. फिर मैंने तुमसे पूछा की तुम ने से किसी ने ये बात का दावा किया था, तो तुमने बताया की नहीं. अगर जवाब हाँ में होता तो मैं सोचता की वह शख्स सिर्फ एक दावे की पैरवी कर रहा है जो उससे पहले किया गया. फिर मैंने तुमसे पूछा की उनपे कभी झूठ बोलने का इलज़ाम लगाया गया तो तुमने ना में जवाब दिया, सो मैंने ये मान लिया की जो इंसान दुसरे इंसान को झूठ न बोले वो अल्लाह के बारे में कैसे झूठ बोलेगा.

Hercules ne fir pucha, "kya tumne kabhi unse Jung ki hai?" maine kaha, "haan." usne kaha, "Jung ke kya Faisle hue hai?" maine kaha, "kabhi woh Fateh hota tha to kabhi ham." usne kaha, "woh tumko kya karne ko kahta hai?" maine kaha, "woh hame Allah ki Ibadat karne, aur Allah ke saath kisi ko Sharik nahi karne, aur hamare BAap Dada ke Buto ko Pujne se manaa karta hai. Vah hame Ibadat karne, Sadqa dene, Naek rehne, kiye Wade ko nibhane aur woh chiz lauṭaa dene ko kahta hai jo log bharose se chhod kar jaate hai."

jab maine ussey ye sab kah diya, to Hercules ne apne Tarjume wale se kaha, "bataado Isey maine Tumse unke Purkhe ke baare mein pucha aur tumne Jawab diya ki woh ek Sajjan Parivar se hai. Asal men, saare Nabi apne Waqt ke sabse acche Purkhe mein se hai. Fir maine Tumse pucha ki tum ne se kisi ne ye baat ka Daawa kiya tha, to tumne bataya ki nahi. Agar Jawab haan mein hota to main sochta ki vah shakhs sirf ek Daawe ki Pervi kar rahaa hai jo ussey pehle kiya gaya. Fir maine Tumse pucha ki unpe kabhi Jhooth bolne ka Ilzam lagaya gaya to tumne naa mein Jawab diya, so maine ye maan liya ki jo Insaan dusre Insaan ko Jhooth n bole woh Allah ke baare mein kaise Jhooth bolega.

“By God! Had it not been for shame that my companions brand me a liar, I would not have spoken the truth about him when he asked me. But I considered it shameful to be called a liar by my companions, so I told the truth.”

“He then said to his translator, ’Ask him what kind of fami-ly he belongs to.’ I replied, ‘He belongs to a noble family amongst us.’ He said, ’Has anybody else amongst you ever claimed the same before him?’ I replied, ‘No.’ He said, ‘Have you ever blamed him for telling lies before he claimed what he claimed?’ I replied, ’No.’ He said, ’Was an-ybody amongst his ancestors a king?’ I replied, ’No.’ He said, ’Do the noble or the poor follow him?’ I replied, ’It is the poor who follow him.’ He said, ’Are they increasing or decreasing (daily)?’ I replied, ’They are increasing.’ He said, ’Does anybody amongst those who embrace his religion be-come displeased and then discard his religion?’ I replied, ’No.’ He said, ‘Does he break his pRomeises?’ I replied, ’No, but we are now at truce with him and we are afraid that he may betray us.’

"अल्लाह की कसम! ये बहुत शर्मनाक होता की मेरे साथी मुझे झूठा साबित कर दे, मैं उनके बारे में सच नहीं बोलने वाला था जब उसने मुझे सवाल पूछे. मगर मैंने ये बात को शर्मनाक समझी की मेरे साथियो के सामने मुझे झूठा साबित किया जाए, इसलिए मैंने सच बोला."

उसने फिर उसके तर्जुमे वाले से कहा, "पूछो इससे क्या वो किस तरह के परिवार से तालुक़ रखता है." मैंने जवाब दिया, "वो हम में से एक शानदार परिवार से है." उसने कहा, "क्या तुम में से कभी किसी ने इस दावा किया है.?" मैंने कहा, "नहीं." उसने कहा, "क्या तुमने कभी उसे दावा करने से पहले झूठ बोलते देखा है?" मैंने कहा, "नहीं" उसने कहा, "क्या उसके पुरखो में कोई राजा था?" मैंने कहा, "नहीं" उसने कहा, "उसकी पैरवी करने वाले आमिर है या गरीब?" मैंने कहा, "उसकी पैरवी करने वाले ज्यादातर गरीब है." उसने कहा, "वो बढ़ रहे है या घट रहे है?" मैंने कहा, "वो बढ़ रहे है." उसने कहा, "क्या उसपे ईमान लाने वालो में से कोई नाराज़ होकर दीन से पलटा है?" मैंने कहा, "नहीं" उसने कहा, "क्या वो अपने वादे तोड़ता है?" मैंने कहा, "नहीं, मगर हम अभी उसके साथ एक कश्मकश में है क्योंकि हमें डर है की वो हमें धोका देगा."

"Allah ki kasam! Ye bahut sharmanaak hota ki mere sathi mujhe Jhoothaa saabit kar de, main unke baare mein sach nahi bolne vaalaa tha jab usne mujhe savaal poochhe. Magar maine ye baat ko sharmanaak samajhi ki mere saathiyo ke saamne mujhe Jhoothaa saabit kiya jaaye, isaliye maine sach bolaa."

usne fir uske Tarjume wale se kaha, "pucho issey kya woh kis tarah ke Parivar se taaluq rakhta hai." maine Jawab diya, "woh ham mein se ek Shaandar Parivar se hai." usne kaha, "kya tum mein se kabhi kisi ne is Daawa kiya hai.?" maine kaha, "nahi." usne kaha, "kya tumne kabhi use Daawa karne se pehle Jhooth bolte dekha hai?" maine kaha, "nahi" usne kaha, "kya uske Purkho mein koi Raja tha?" maine kaha, "nahi" usne kaha, "uski Pervi karne wale Amir hai yaa Garib?" maine kaha, "uski Pervi karne wale jyadatar Garib hai." usne kaha, "woh baḍh rahe hai yaa ghaṭ rahe hai?" maine kaha, "woh baḍh rahe hai." usne kaha, "kya uspe Imaan laane walo mein se koi Naaraz hokar Deen se palaṭaa hai?" maine kaha, "nahi" usne kaha, "kya woh apne Wade todta hai?" maine kaha, "nahi, magar ham abhi uske saath ek kashmakash mein hai kyuki hame ḍaar hai ki woh hame Dhoka denga."

Abu Sufyan said, "Hercules’ messenger found us somewhere in the Greater Syria area, so he took me and my companions to Ilya and we were admitted into Hercules’ presence. We found him sitting in his royal court wearing a crown, surrounded by the senior Byzantine dignitaries. He said to his translator. ’Ask them whom amongst them is a close relation to the man who claims to be a prophet.’” Abu Sufyan added, ‘I am the nearest relative to him.’ He asked, ’What degree of relationship do you have with him?’ I replied, ’He is my cousin,’ and there was none from the tribe of Abd Manaf in the caravan except myself. Hercules said, ’Let him come nearer.’ He then ordered that my companions stand behind me near my shoulder and said to his translator, ’Tell his companions that I am going to ask this man about the one who claims to be a prophet. If he tells a lie, they should contradict him immediately.’” Abu Sufyan added, “This is a historic region in the Middle East bordering the Mediterranean. It is generally considered to include the modern states of Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Jordon.”

अबु सुफ़यान ने कहा, "हरक्यूलिस के राजद्वारी ने हमें शाम में ढूंढ लिया, उन्होंने मुझे और मेरे साथी को इल्या ले गए और हरक्यूलिस के दरबार में हाज़िर किया. हम उसे अपने शाही दरबार में एक ताज पहने हुए, वरिष्ठ बाइजेंटाइन गणमान्य व्यक्तियों से घिरा हुआ देखा. उसने तर्जुमे वाले से कहा, "पूछो इन्हें की इनमे से कौन उससे ज्यादा करीब है जो अपने आप को रसूल बताता है.?" अबु सुफ़यान ने कहा, "मैं उनका करीबी रिश्तेदार हु." उसने पूछा, "तुम्हारा उनसे क्या संबंध है?" मैंने जवाब दिया, "वह मेरे चचेरे भाई है." और मेरे अलावा अब्द मुनाफ के काबिले से कोई वहाँ मौजूद नहीं था. हरक्यूलिस ने कहा, "इसे पास आने दो." फिर उसने हुक्म किया की मेरे सारे साथी मेरे पीछे खड़े हो जाए. फिर उसने तर्जुमे वाले से कहा, " कह दो इसके साथियो को की मैं उस इंसान जो नबी होने का दावा करता है उसके ताल्लुक से इससे कुछ सवालात करने वाला हु. अगर ये झूठ बोले, तो बाकी सब को उसे तुरंत खंडन कर देना चाहिए." अबु सुफ़यान ने कहा, "यह मध्य पूर्व में एक ऐतिहासिक क्षेत्र है जो भूमध्य की सीमा से लगा हुआ है. यह आम तौर पर आज के आधुनिक राज्यों शाम (सीरिया), लेबनान, फिलिस्तीन और जॉर्डन को शामिल करने के लिए माना जाता है."

Abu Sufyan ne kaha, "Hercules ke Rajdwari ne hame Sham mein ḍhoonḍh liya, unhone mujhe aur mere sathi ko Ilyaa le gaye aur Hercules ke Darbar mein haazir kiya. Ham usey apne Shahi Darbar mein ek taaj pehne hue, variṣṭh baa_ijenṭaa_in Ganmanya Vyaktiyo se ghiraa hua dekha. Usne Tarjume wale se kaha, "pucho inhe ki inme se kaun ussey jyaadaa kareeb hai jo apne Aap ko Rasool batata hai.?" Abu Sufyan ne kaha, "main unka kareebee Rishtedaar hu." usne pucha, "tumhara unse kya snbndh hai?" maine Jawab diya, "vah mere chachere bhaa_ii hai." aur mere alawa abd munaaf ke Qabile se koi wahaan maujood nahi tha. Hercules ne kaha, "ise paas aane do." fir usne hukm kiya ki mere saare sathi mere peechhe khade ho jaaye. Fir usne Tarjume wale se kaha, " kah do isake saathiyo ko ki main us Insaan jo Nabi hone ka Daawa karta hai uske taalluk se issey kuch savaalaat karne vaalaa hu. Agar ye Jhooth bole, to baaki sab ko use turnt khnḍaan kar denaa chaahie." Abu Sufyan ne kaha, "yah madhy poorv mein ek aitihaasik kṣetr hai jo bhoomadhy ki seemaa se lagaa hua hai. Yah aam taur par aaj ke aadhunik Raajyon Sham (Syria), lebanaan, filisteen aur jŏrḍaan ko Shamil karne ke liye maanaa jaataa hai."

Thus, Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) has the noblest lineage on earth. Even his enemies attested to this fact, as did Abu Sufyan, the arch enemy of Islam before he became Muslim, in front of Hercules, the Emperor of Romee.

Abdullah ibne Abbas, the nephew of the Prophet, reported that Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) wrote to Hercules and invited him to Islam though a letter he sent with a companion of his named Dihya al-Kalbi. Dihya handed this letter to the Governor of Busra who then forwarded it to Hercules. Hercules, as a sign of gratitude to God, had walked from Hims to Ilya (i.e. Jerusalem) when God had granted Him victory over. He was the Emperor of the Byzantine Empire (610–641) who captured Syria, Palestine, and Egypt from Persia (613–628) the Persian forces.

When the letter of Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) reached Hercules, he said after reaDeeng it, “Seek for me any-one of his people, (Arabs of the Quraishtribe) if present here, in order to ask him about Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam)!” At that time Abu Sufyan bin Harb was in Sham (the Greater Syria Area) with some Men from Quraishwho had come as merchants during the truce that had been concluded between Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) and the pagans of Quraish.

इस प्रकार, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ज़मीन पर एक महान पुरखे से है. उनके दुश्मनो भी ये बात मानते थे, जैसे अबु सुफ़यान जो ईमान लाने से पहले इस्लाम का कट्टर दुश्मन था, उसने हरक्यूलिस, रोम के सम्राट के सामने इसकी गवाही दी. अब्दुल्लाह इब्ने अब्बास, रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के भतीजे ने हरक्यूलिस को एक खत लिखा जिसमे आपने उसे इस्लाम क़ुबूल करने की दावत दी और वो उसके एक साथी दिह्या अल कलबी के साथ भेज दिया. दिह्या ने वो खत बसरा के गवर्नर को दिया जिसने उसे हरक्यूलिस तक भेज दिया. हरक्यूलिस, अल्लाह के तरफ एहसानमंदी करने के लिए, हिम्स से इल्या (यरूशलेम) तक पैदल गया जब अल्लाह ने उसे विजयी किया. वो बीजान्टिन साम्राज्य (610–641) का सम्राट था जिसने शाम, फिलिस्तीन और मिस्र पर फारस (613–628) से फ़ारसी सेना से हमला किया.

जब रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) का खत हरक्यूलिस के पास पंहुचा, तो उसने पढ़ने के बाद कहा, "उनमे से कोई एक (क़ुरैश के काबिले के अरब) को मेरे सामने पेश करो, अगर वो यहाँ आस पास मौजूद है, ताकि मैं उनको रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के बारे में कुछ सवाल कर सकु!" उस वक़्त अबु सुफ़यान बिन हर्ब अपने कुछ क़ुरैशी व्यापारियों के साथ शाम (सीरिया) में था जब रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) और क़ुरैश के बीच संघर्ष विराम के दौरान हुआ था.

Is Prakaar, Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) zameen par ek mahaan Purkhe se hai. Unke Dushmano bhi ye baat maanate the, jaise Abu Sufyan jo Imaan laane se pehle Islam ka Kaṭṭar Dushman tha, usne Hercules, Rome ke Samrat ke saamne iski Gawahi di. Dihyaa ne woh khat basaraa ke Governor ko diya jisne usey Hercules tak bhej diya. Hercules, Allah ke taraf ehasaanamndi karne ke lie, Hims se Ilyaa (Yarooshalem) tak paidal gaya jab Allah ne use Vijayi kiya. Woh ByzantinesaamRaajy (610–641) ka Samrat tha jisne Sham, filisteen aur misr par faaras (613–628) se Farsi Sena se Hamla kiya. Jab Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ka khat Hercules ke paas pahuncha, to usne padhne ke baad kaha, "unme se koi ek (Quraish ke Qabile ke Arab) ko mere saamne pesh karo, agar woh yahaan aas paas maujood hai, taaki main unko Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) ke baare mein kuch savaal kar saku!" us Waqt  Abu Sufyan bin Harb apne kuch Quraishi Vyapariyo ke saath Sham (Syria) mein tha jab Rasool’Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) aur Quraish ke beech Sangharsh Viraam ke dauraan hua tha.
