From the aforementioned verse we learn that the Isa (Alaihissalaam) asked the Lord for food from heaven as a gift for his people. Isa (Alaihissalaam) also said that the receiving of the gift will be an Eid for them, and for those who will come later in generation. The day will be remembered and celebrated as an Eid. It is an Islamic principle that everything from the previous Prophets (upon them all be peace and blessings) mentioned in the Qur’an or Hadith without being refuted remains established.

ऊपर की आयत से हमें पता चलता है की इसा (अलैहिस्सलाम) ने खुदा से अपने लोगो के लिए जन्नती खाने की मांग की. इसा (अलैहिस्सलाम) ने ये भी कहा की ये तोहफा मिलना उनके लिए और उनकी आने वाली उम्मत के लिए ईद के दिन जैसा है. ये दिन को ईद के दिन से याद करते हुए मनाया जाएगा. ये इस्लामी कानून है की जो भी अगले नबी और रसूल (अल्लाह सब पर अपनी रेहमत नाज़िल करे) की बातें जो क़ुरान और हदीस में दर्ज है जिसकी तरदीद की गयी हो वो हक़ है.

Upar ki Aayat se hame pata chalta hai ki Isa (Alaihissalaam) ne Khuda se apne logo ke lie Jannati khaane ki maang ki. Isa (Alaihissalaam) ne ye bhi kaha ki ye tohfa milna unke lie aur unki aane wali Ummat ke lie Eid ke Din jesa hai. Ye Din ko Eid ke Din se yaad karte hue Manaya jayega. Ye Islami Kanoon hai ki jo bhi Agle Nabi aur Rasool (Allah sab par apni Rehmat naazil kare) ki Baatein jo Qur’an aur Hadees mein Darj hai jiski Tardid ki gayi ho vo Haqq hai.

The Islamic Law does not suddenly change on the 12th of Al-Rabi’ Al Awwal, that which was lawful remains lawful and that which was unlawful remains unlawful.

Allah جل جلاله says in the Qur’an,

“Isa son of Maryam said: O’ Allah, our Lord! Send down for us a clothe spread with food from heaven, that it may be an Eid for us, for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You, give us sustenance for You are the best of sustainers”

[Sural al-Maa’idah, 114]

12 अल-रबी'उल अव्वल आने पर इस्लामी शरीअत अचानक से बदल नहीं जाती, और जो हलाल है वो हलाल रहता है और जो हराम है वो हराम रहता है.

अल्लाह جل جلاله क़ुरान में कहता है,

"(तब) मरियम के बेटे ईसा ने (बारगाहे ख़ुदा में) अर्ज़ की ख़ुदा वन्दा ऐ हमारे पालने वाले हम पर आसमान से एक ख्वान (नेअमत) नाजि़ल फरमा कि वह दिन हम लोगों के लिए हमारे अगलों के लिए और हमारे पिछलों के लिए ईद का करार पाए (और हमारे हक़ में) तेरी तरफ से एक बड़ी निशानी हो और तू हमें रोज़ी दे और तू सब रोज़ी देने वालो से बेहतर है."

[सुरह अल माईदा, 114]

12 Al-Rabi’ Al Awwal aane par Islami Shariat achanak se badal nahi jati, aur jo Halaal hai vo Halaal rehta hai aur jo Haraam hai vo Haraam rehta hai.

Allah جل جلاله Qur’an mein kehta hai,

"(Tab) Maryam ke beṭe Isa ne (Bargah E Khuda mein) Arz ki Khuda Vanda Aey hamare palne wale ham par Aasman se ek Khwan (Naemat) Naazil farma ki vah Din ham logo ke liye hamare aglo ke liye aur hamare pichlo ke liye Eid ka karar paaye (aur hamare Haqq mein) teri taraf se ek badi nishani ho aur to hame Rozi de aur to sab Rozi dene walo se Behtar hai."

[Sural al-Maa’idah, 114]

In the same way the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم used to gather the companions together. Flags, banners and posters are also effective for publicising. Chanting praises and speeches are also a way of publicising. The fact of the matter is, whatever lies within the boundaries of Islamic law is allowed and whatever the law of Islam has prohibited is not allowed. Therefore, music, dancing, intermingling with the opposite sex, consuming the unlawful, swearing, hurting others through unlawful acts such as shouting, screaming and jumping around like hooligans whilst in the Masjid or marching in the streets are all unlawful. Marching in the streets in a respectable manner or gathering and speaking of the beautiful characteristics, life or birth of the beloved صلى الله عليه وسلم is all lawful.

इसी तरह अल्लाह के रसूल صلى الله عليه وسلم भी महफिले सजाया करते थे. झंडे, बैनर और पोस्टर भी ज़ाहिर करने का एक बेहतरीन तरीक़ा है. नात और मन्क़बत पढ़ते हुए जाना भी ज़ाहिर करने का तरीक़ा है. दरअसल, बात यह है कि, जो भी इस्लामी शरीअत के दायरे में है वो जायज़ है और जिसको इस्लामी शरीअत ने हराम किया है वह नाजायज़ है. इसलिए, गाना, नाचना, गैर मर्द औरत से साथ मिलना झूलना, नाजायज़ चीज़ो का खाना पीना, कसम खाना, चिल्ला पुकार और नाच कूद कर मस्जिद या सड़को पर दुसरो को अज़ीयत देना सब नाजायज़ है. सड़को पर बाइज़्ज़त जुलूस निकलना और रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم की मुबारक आदतें, विलादत और ज़िन्दगी बयान करना जायज़ है.

Isi tarah Allah ke Rasool صلى الله عليه وسلم bhi Mehfile sajaya karte the. Jhandee, Banner aur posṭar bhi Zaahir karne ka ek Bahtarin Tariqa hai. Naat aur Manqabat padhte hue jana bhi Zaahir karne ka Tariqa hai. Darasal, baat yah hai ki, jo bhi Islami Shariat ke Daayre mein hai vo Jayz hai aur jisko Islami Shariat ne Haraam kiya hai vah Najayz hai. Isliye, Gana, Nachna, Gayr Mard Aurat se saath milna jhulna, Najayz chizo ka Khaana Pina, Kasam Khaana, Chilla Pukar aur Nach Kud kar Masjid yaa Sardko par dusro ko Aziyat dena sab Najayz hai. Sardko par Baizzat Juloos nikalna aur Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Mubarak Aadate, Wiladat aur Zindagi Bayaan karna Jayz hai.

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم explains this verse in the following Hadith narrated by Salman Al-Faarsi (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu), “Lawful is that which Allah جل جلاله has made lawful in the book. Unlawful is that which Allah جل جلاله has made unlawful in the book. And that which Allah جل جلاله has not mentioned is forgiven (permissible)”

[Tirmizi and Ibn Maajah]

This is the very reason why the Muslim Scholars unanimously agree that anyone who regards something as unlawful must provide evidence, otherwise it is dimed lawful. Publicising can also be achieved by holDing gatherings and addressing people the bounties and gifts of Allah جل جلاله.

रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم इस आयत की तफ़्सीर हदीस में करते है जो सलमान अल फ़ारसी (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हु) फरमाते है, "हलाल वो है जो अल्लाह جل جلاله ने अपनी किताब में हलाल किया, और जिस चीज़ का अल्लाह جل جلاله ने ज़िक्र नहीं किया वह माफ़ (हलाल) है."

[तिर्मिज़ी और इब्न माजाह]

एहि वजह है की उलमा ए दीन एक दलील पे राज़ी होते है कोई अगर किसी चीज़ को हराम कहे तो वो उसकी दलील पेश करे, वरना वो हलाल के दायरे में आता है. ज़ाहिर करने में महफ़िल बनाकर लोगो में अल्लाह جل جلاله का पैग़ाम पोहचना भी है.

Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم is Aayat ki Tafseer Hadees mein karte hai jo Salman Al-Faarsi (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu) farmate hai, "Halaal vo hai jo Allah جل جلاله ne apni Kitaab mein Halaal kiya, aur jis chiz ka Allah جل جلاله ne Zikr nahi kiya vah Maaf (Halaal) hai."

Yahi wajah hai ki Ulma E Deen ek Daleel pe Razi hote hai koi agar kisi chiz ko Haraam kahe to vo uski Daleel pesh kare, warna vo Halaal ke Daayre mein aata hai. Zaahir karne mein Mehfil banakar logo mein Allah جل جلاله ka Paigam pohchana bhi hai.

The Prophet Muhammad’s birth صلى الله عليه وسلم is surely the most gracious bounty of Allah جل جلاله for us believers. Allah جل جلاله commands us to publicise it. How must we publicise the coming of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم?

AccorDing to the masses around the globe, one of the ways of publicising and showing acknowledgment is marching in the streets. Is there anywhere in the Qur’an where Allah جل جلاله has prohibited the marching in the streets to publicise His best of gifts? If not and surely not then why not? Allah جل جلاله says,

“O, those who believe! Forbid not the good things which Allah has made lawful for you, and transgress not, Lo! Allah does not love the transgressors”

[Sural al-Maa’idah, 87]

रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم की विलादत बेशक मोमिनो के लिए अल्लाह جل جلاله की बहुत बड़ी नेअमत है. अल्लाह جل جلاله हमें उसका ज़ाहिर करने का हुक्म देता है. हम कैसे हमारे आक़ा صلى الله عليه وسلم की आमद को ज़ाहिर करे?

दुनिया के लोगो के हिसाब से, ज़ाहिर करने का एक तरीक़ा सड़को पर आमद-रफ़्त (जुलूस निकलना) करना है. क्या क़ुरान में ऐसा कही है जहा अल्लाह جل جلاله ने उसके सबसे अज़ीम तोहफे को ज़ाहिर करने के लिए ऐसा जुलूस निकालने को मना किया हो? अगर नहीं और पक्का नहीं तो क्यों नहीं? अल्लाह جل جلاله कहता है,

"ऐ ईमानवाले! जो पाक चीज़े ख़ुदा ने तुम्हारे वास्ते हलाल कर दी हैं उनको अपने ऊपर हराम न करो और हद से न बढ़ो क्यों कि ख़ुदा हद से बढ़ जाने वालों को हरगिज़ दोस्त नहीं रखता"

[सुरह अल माईदा, 87]

Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Wiladat Beshak Momino ke liye Allah جل جلاله ki bahut badi Naemat hai. Allah جل جلاله hame uska Zaahir karne ka Hukm deta hai. Ham kaise hamare Aaqa صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Aamad ko Zaahir kare?

Duniya ke logo ke HIsab se, Zaahir karne ka ek Tariqa Sardko par Aamad-Rapht (Juloos nikalna) karna hai. Kya Qur’an mein esa kahi hai jaha Allah جل جلاله ne uske sabse Azeem Tohfe ko Zaahir karne ke liye esa Juloos nikalne ko Mana kiya ho? Agar nahi aur pakka nahi to kyu nahi?

Allah جل جلاله kehta hai,

”Aey Imaanwale! Jo Paak Chizey Khuda ne tumhare vaste Halaal kar di hai unko apne Upar Haraam n karo aur hadd se n badho kyu ki Khuda hadd se baḍhx jaane walo ko Hargiz Dost nahi rakhta"

[Sural al-Maa’idah, 87]

It is demanded by Allah جل جلاله to rejoice and spend to show our gratitude on receiving the mercy and grace of Allah جل جلاله.

Isn’t that exactly what the true lovers of the beloved do to celebrate the Mawlid? Allah جل جلاله says in another verse of the Qur’an,

“And publicise well the bounty of your Lord”

[Sural ad-Duha, 11]

अल्लाह جل جلاله ने तकाज़ा किया है की हम अल्लाह جل جلاله की रेहमत पर खुशिया मनाये और शुक्र अदा करे.

क्या ये बिलकुल वैसा नहीं है सच्चे आशिकाने रसूल मिलाद मन कर करते है? अल्लाह جل جلاله क़ुरआन की दूसरी आयत में फरमाता है.

”और अपने परवरदिगार की नेअमतों का जि़क्र करते रहना."

Kya ye Bilkul wesa nahi hai Sachhe Aasiqane Rasool Milad mana kar karte hai?

Allah جل جلاله Quir’an ki dusri Aayat mein farmata hai.

”Aur apne Parvardigar ki Maemato ka Zikr karte rehna."

From the above verse, we learn that we should rejoice which means we should be happy and we should celebrate. We also learn that it is better than hoarding wealth, which means we should spend it to show our gratitude to Allah جل جلاله.

Where must we spend our wealth to rejoice?

Should we buy new clothes, decorations, give to the poor and feed the poor and also feed our fellow Muslims?

The answer is common sense; spend your wealth on that which is within the law of Islam and shows your happiness and thankfulness towards Allah جل جلاله. We now know that we should rejoice the coming of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.

ऊपर की आयत के मुताबिक, हमको ये मालूम होता है की हमें ख़ुशी मनानी चाहिए जिसका मतलब है की हमें खुश होना चाहिए और जश्न मनाना चाहिए. हमको ये भी मालूम होता है की इस तरह दौलत खर्च करना बेहतर है, जिसका मतलब है की हमें अल्लाह جل جلاله का शुक्र अदा करने के लिए दौलत खर्च करनी चाहिए.

हमें जश्न मनाने के लिए अपनी दौलत कहा खर्च करनी चाहिए?

क्या हमें नए कपडे खरीदने चाहिए, सजाना चाहिए, गरीबो को देना चाहिए या गरीबो को खाना खिलाना चाहिए या हमारे मुसलमान भाइयो को खाना खिलाना चाहिए?

इसका जवाब बहुत ही आसान है, अपनी दौलत ऐसी खर्च करो की वो इस्लाम की शरीअत के अंदर रहकर अल्लाह جل جلاله का शुक्र अदा करे और ख़ुशी ज़ाहिर करे. हमें अब पता लगता है की रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم की आमाद पर हमें खुशिया मनानी चाहिए.

Upar ki Aayat ke Mutabik, humko ye Maloom hota hai ki hame Khushi manani chahiye jiska matlab hai ki hame Khush hona chahiye aur Jashn manana chahiye. Humko ye bhi Maloom hota hai ki is tarah Daulat kharch karna Behtar hai, jiska matlab hai ki hame Allah جل جلاله ka Shukr Adaa karne ke lie Daulat kharch karni chahiye.

Hame Jashn manane ke liye apni Daulat kaha kharch karni chahiye?

Kya hame Naye Kapde kharidne chahiye, Sajana chahiye, Garibo ko dena chahiye yaa Garibo ko Khaana khilana chahiye yaa hamare Musalman Bhaiyo ko Khaana khilana chahiye?

Iska Jawaab bahut hi Aasaan hai, apni Daulat esi kharch karo ki vo Islam ki Shariat ke andar rehkar Allah جل جلاله ka Shukr Adaa kare aur Khushi Zaahir kare. Hame ab pata lagta hai ki Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Aamad par hame Khushiya manani chahiye.

Knowing that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is a gift, bounty, grace, mercy and Favour from Allah ,جل جلالهdo we not have a duty to thank Allah ?جل جلالهShould we not express our gratitude to Allah ?جل جلالهIf yes, and surely yes then in what way and how? Let us see how Allah جل جلالهdemands us to show our thanks and express our gratitude for the gifts He has bestowed us with. Allah جل جلاله says in the Qur’an,

“Say: In receiving the grace and mercy of Allah, they must rejoice, it is better than what they hoard”

[Surah Yunus, 58]

यह पता होना की रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم हमारे लिए अल्लाह جل جلاله की तरफ से बख्शीश, इनाम, दया, रहमत और एहसान है, क्या हमें अल्लाह جل جلاله की शुक्र गुज़ारी नहीं करनी चाहिए? अगर हाँ तो किस तरह और कैसे? चलो देखते है कैसे अल्लाह جل جلاله हमें उसके इस तोहफा जो उसने हमे दिया है उसके लिए कैसे शुकरमंद होने और एहसान अदा करने कहता है. अल्लाह جل جلاله क़ुरान में कहता है,

"फरमा दीजिये: (ये सब कुछ) अल्लाह के फ़ज़ल और उसकी रेहमत के बाइस है (जो बे'सते मुहम्मदी صلى الله عليه وسلم के ज़रिये तुम पर हुआ है) पास मुसलमानो को चाहिए की उसपर खुशिया मनाये, ये उस (सारे मालो दौलत)से कही बेहतर है जिसे वो जमा करते है."

[सूरह यूनुस, 58]

Yah pata hona ki Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم hamare lie Allah جل جلاله ki taraf se Bakhshish, Inaam, Dayaa, Rehmat aur Ehsaan hai, kya hame Allah جل جلاله ki Shukr Guzari nahi karni chahiye? Agar haan to kis tarah aur kese? Chalo dekhte hai kese Allah جل جلاله hame uske is Tohfa jo usne hame diya hai uske lie kese Shukrmand hone aur Ehsaan adaa karne kehta hai. Allah جل جلاله Qur’an men kehta hai,

"Farma Dijiye (ye sab kuch) Allah ke Fazal aur uski Rehmat ke Baais hai (jo Be’Sate Muhammadi صلى الله عليه وسلم ke Zariye tum par hua hai) paas Musalmano ko chahiye ki uspar Khushiya manaye, ye us (Saare Maalo Daulat) se kahi behtar hai jisey Wo jamaa karte hai."

[Surah Yunus, 58]

There are many other verses, Hadith and narrations from the companions which mention the coming of our most beloved master صلى الله عليه وسلم. However, I want to show that celebrating the Mawlid is not only practiced in the Qur’an and Hadith but it is also encouraged and demanded. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is a grace (Favour) of Allah جل جلاله for all creations. This is not something that one can disagree with and yet remain a believer. It is an obligation to believe that the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is a divine gift from the almighty Lord of all the worlds. A fundamental belief of Muslims is that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is the greatest gift Allah جل جلاله has bestowed mankind with. He صلى الله عليه وسلم is the heart of faith. Allah جل جلاله says in the Qur’an,

“Allah verily has shown grace to the believers by sending unto them a messenger of their own who recites unto them His revelations, purifies them, and teaches them the scripture and wisdom; although before they were in clear misguidance.”

बहुत सारी आयते, हदीसे और सहाबा की रिवायते है जो हमारे प्यारे आक़ा صلى الله عليه وسلم की आमद बयान करती है. फिरभी, मैं यह बताना चाहता हु की मिलाद सिर्फ क़ुरान और हदीस में नहीं मनाया गया मगर इसको बढ़ाया और मानाने का मुतालबा किया है. रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم कायनात की सारी मखलूक के लिए अल्लाह جل جلاله की रेहमत है. मोमिन होकर इसका कोई इनकार नहीं कर सकता. मोमिनो के लिए ये ज़रूरी है की वो इस बात पर पर ईमान रखे की रसूलअल्लाहज صلى الله عليه وسلم को सारी आलम के रब की तरफ से एक अज़ीम तोहफा बनाकर भेजा है. मुसलमानो का यह ईमान है की रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم इंसानो के लिए एक बहुत बड़ा और अज़ीम तोहफा है उनके रब अल्लाह جل جلاله की तरफ से. आओ صلى الله عليه وسلم ईमान का दिल हो. अल्लाह جل جلاله क़ुरान में कहता है,

ख़ुदा ने तो ईमानवालो पर बड़ा एहसान किया कि उनके वास्ते उन्हीं की क़ौम का एक रसूल भेजा जो उन्हें खुदा की आयतें पढ़ पढ़ के सुनाता है और उनकी ईमान को पाकीज़ा करता है और उन्हें किताबे (ख़ुदा) और अक़्ल  की बातें सिखाता है अगरचे वह पहले खुली हुयी गुमराही में पडे़ थे.

Bahut Sari Aayate, Hadeese aur Sahaba ki Rivayate hai jo hamare Pyare Aaqa صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Aamad Bayaan karti hai. Fir bhi, main yah batana chahta hu ki Milad sirf Qur’an aur Hadees men nahi manaya gaya magar isko badhaya aur manane ka Mutalba kiya hai. Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم Qaynaat ki Sari Makhluk ke lie Allah جل جلاله ki Rehmat hai. Momin hokar iska koi Inkaar nahi kar sakta. Momino ke lie ye zaruri hai ki Wo is baat par par Imaan rakhe ki Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم ko Sari Aalam ke Rabb ki taraf se ek Azeem Tohfa banakar bheja hai. Musalmano ka yah Imaan hai ki Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم Insaano ke lie ek bahut Bada aur Azeem Tohfa hai unke Rabb Allah جل جلاله ki taraf se. Aap صلى الله عليه وسلم Imaan ka Dil ho. Allah جل جلاله Qur’an men kehta hai,

Khuda ne to Imaanwalo par Bada Ehsaan kiya ki unke vaaste unhi ki Qaum ka ek Rasool bheja jo unhe Khuda ki Aayate padh padh ke sunata hai aur unki Imaan ko Pakiza karta hai aur unhe Kitabe (Khuda) aur Aqal  ki Baatein sikhata hai agarache vah pehle khuli hui Gumrahi men padey the.

Abbas (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu); the uncle of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم also wrote poetry regarding the Mawlid of the Prophet ,صلى الله عليه وسلمin these words, “And when you were born (O’ Beloved) the earth became bright, and through your light did the horizon shine, and today we walk the path of guidance in that very shining light”

Surely, if mentioning the birth of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was a bid’ah, the Sahabah would not have mentioned anything about it, neither the day nor the word “birth”. Everything about the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم recorded by the companions is of utmost importance for the believer. Why did the companions record the date of the beloved’s صلى الله عليه وسلم  birth? Hassan Ibn Sabit (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu) was known as the Prophet’s صلى الله عليه وسلم poet. He sang praiseys for the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and also refuted the poetry of those who tried to ridicule the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in their poetry. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم would often pray for Hassan (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu) by saying, “O’ Allah, help him through the angel Jibreel”. Surely Allah جل جلاله is pleased with Hassan Ibn Sabit. Once he recited poetry regarding the beautiful Mawlid, these words are remembered and sung today by all Muslims young and old. He said, “My eyes have never seen more handsome than you, No woman has given birth to more beautiful than you, You have been created beyond all faults, As though you have been created as you wished”

बेशक, अगर रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم की विलादत बयान करना बिदअत होती, तो शबा कभी इसका ज़िक्र नहीं करते, न वो दिन न "विलादत". रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم  के बारे में सब कुछ ही सहाबा ए किराम ने हदीस की शकल में दर्ज कर ली और इसे मानना हर मोमिन के लिए ज़रूरी है. सहाबा ए किराम ने आखिर क्यों मेहबूब صلى الله عليه وسلم की तारीख ए विलादत याद रखी? हसन इब्न साबित (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हु) रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم के नातख्वां माने जाते थे. आप रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم की शान बयान करने वाले मनकबत पढ़ते थे और साथ ही अपनी नात से उनको रद्द भी करते थे जो रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم के मुनकिर थे. रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم अक्सर हसन इब्न साबित के लिए दुआ करते थे और कहते थे, "या अल्लाह, इन्हे फरिस्ते जिब्रील से मदद अता फरमा." बेशक, अल्लाह جل جلالهहसन इब्न साबित से राज़ी है. एक मर्तबा आपने मिलाद की निस्बत से नात पढ़ी, वो अलफ़ाज़ आज भी दुनिया भर के जवान और बुज़ुर्ग मुसलमान शान से पढ़ते है. आपने कहा, "मेरी आँखों ने आपसे बढ़कर किसी भी खूबसूरत नहीं पाया, कोई भी औरत ने आप से ज्यादा खूबसूरत बच्चे को पैदा नहीं किया, आप को सारे नुक्स से परे बनाया गया है, ऐसा बनाया गया है जैसा आप चाहते थे."

Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم aksar Hassan ibn Saabit ke lie Dua karte the aur kehte the, "Yaa Allah, inhe Fariste Jibreel se madad ataa farma." Beshak, Allah جل جلاله Hassan ibn Saabit se Razi hai. Ek Martaba Aapne Milad ki Nisbat se Naat paḍhi, Wo Alfaz aaj bhi Duniya bhar ke Jawaan aur Buzurg Musalman Shaan se padhte hai. Aapne kaha, "Meri Aankho ne Aapse badhkar kise bhi Khubsurat nahi paya, koi bhi Aurat ne Aap se jyada Khubsurat Bacche ko Paida nahi kiya, Aap ko Saare Nukhs se pare banaya gaya hai, esa banaya gaya hai jesa Aap chahte the."

The aforementioned verses and the Hadith are sufficient to establish the permissibility of celebrating the Mawlid for a person in search of the truth. Allah clearly mentions the coming of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم into this world from the world of souls. The personal pronoun in the verse, “Now hath come unto you”, is plural and for the second person which means Allah جل جلالهis addressing a gathering. The same personal pronoun is used in the words of the Hadith, “Now I shall inform you”. Only a lack of sense would now stop one from understanding the permissibility of the Mawlid gathering. The companions celebrated the Mawlid by mentioning the birth of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلمand sometimes by singing poetry about the beautiful birth. It is narrated regarding Ibn Abbas (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu) and Jabir (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu) that they mentioned the birth in the following words, “He صلى الله عليه وسلم was born on the 12th of Al-Rabi’ Al-Awwal”

मिलाद को मानाने की इजाज़त के लिए ऊपर बताई गयी आयत और हदीस एक हकीकत पसंद शख्स के लिए काफी है. बेशक अल्लाह अपने हबीब صلى الله عليه وسلم की इस रूहानी दुनिया से इस ज़ाहिरी दुनिया में आमद का चर्चा करता है. निजी उपनाम इस आयत में "हक़ तुम्हारे पास आ गया" बहुतो का ज़िक्र है और दूसरा शख्स जो अल्लाह جل جلاله एक महफ़िल के बारे में इशारा करता है. यही निजी उपनाम हदीस में भी है, "अब्ब मैं तुम्हे बताता हु." सिर्फ एक नासमझ ही महफ़िल ए मिलाद की समझने से बाकी रहेगा. सहाबा भी रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم की विलादत की तारीखे बयान करते हुए महफ़िल ए मिलाद मानते थे और कभी आपकी विलादत की शान में नात पढ़ते थे. इब्न अब्बास (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हु) और जाबिर (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हु) के बारे में फ़रमाया जाता है की आप दोनों विलादत इन लफ्ज़ो में बयान करते थे, 'आप صلى الله عليه وسلم की विलादत 12 रबियूल अव्वल को हुई."

Niji upnaam is Aayat men "haq tumhare paas aa gaya" bahuto ka Zikr hai aur dusra shakhs jo Allah جل جلاله ek Mehfil ke baare men ishara karta hai. Yahi Niji upnaam Hadees men bhi hai, "abb main tumhe batata hu." sirf ek Nasamajh hi Mehfil E Milad ki samajhne se baaki rahega. Sahaba bhi Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Wiladat ki Tarikhe Bayaan karte hue Mehfil E Milad mante the aur kabhi Aapki Wiladat ki shaan men Naat paḍhate the. Ibn Abbas (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu) aur Jabir (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu) ke baare men farmaya jata hai ki Aap dono Wiladat in lafzo men Bayaan karte the, 'Aap صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Wiladat 12 Rabiyul Awwal ko hui."

In the commentary of the above verse it says that the light in the second verse is our beloved Prophet .صلى الله عليه وسلم The verse can be better understood from a specific Hadith of the Prophet .صلى الله عليه وسلم This specific Hadith is a gathering of the Mawlid, the speaker is our most beloved, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم himself and the audience is the eminent companions (Allah جل جلالهis pleased with them all).

Amongst his companions, he صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Now I shall inform you of my birth (first matter), I am the prayer of Ibrahim, glad tiding of Isa’ and I am the very sight of my mother which she saw when she gave birth to me, a light exited her which enlightened for her the palaces of Syria”

ऊपर की आयत में जिस नूर का ज़िक्र किया गया वो हमारे प्यारे आक़ा .صلى الله عليه وسلم है. ये ख़ास हदीस महफ़िल ए मिलाद के ताल्लुक से है, इसके रिवायतकर्ता खुद हमारे आक़ा صلى الله عليه وسلم खुद है और इसको सुनने वालो में सहाबी ए रसूल है (अल्लाह جل جلاله सब से राज़ी हो).

आपके सहबियों के बिच, आप صلى الله عليه وسلم ने कहा, "अब मैं आपको मेरी विलादत के बारे बयान करूँगा, मैं इब्राहिम की दुआ हु, इसा की खुसखबरी हु और मैं अपनी वालिदा की आँखों का वो नूर हु जो आपने मुझे पैदा करते वक़्त देखा था, एक ऐसा नूर जो शाम के महलो को भी रोशन करदे."

Aapake Sahabiyon ke bich, aap صلى الله عليه وسلم ne kaha, "ab main aapko meri Wiladat ke bare Bayaan karunga, main Ibrahim ki Dua hu, Isaa ki Khuskhabri hu aur main apni Walida ki Aankho ka Wo Noor hu jo aapne mujhe Paida karte Waqt dekha tha, ek esa Noor jo Sham ke Mehlo ko bhi Roshan karde."

Q1 | Did the Beloved Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم practise it?

Question: Refer Post #001 for the Question.

Answer:

The Arabic word Mawlid simply means, the time of birth or place of birth. According to the custom amongst the Muslims around the globe, it means to mention and remember the coming of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم into this world whether in a gathering or in seclusion, whether it is on the 12th of Rabi’ Al-Awwal or any other day of the year. This is not a stone left unturned by Allah in the Qur’an and neither by our Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in his traditions. This is not an act which was strange amongst the companions and those that followed until today. The truth is that the coming of our Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم into this world has been celebrated by Allah جل جلاله in the Qur’an, by the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in the gatherings of His companions, by the companions (after the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم left this material world) and by all our predecessors. Until today those who remain on their path (The path shown by the Qur’an, Hadith and the predecessors) enjoy celebrating the Mawlid. Allah جل جلاله mentions the coming of the beloved صلى الله عليه وسلم into this world in the following words,

“There has come unto you a messenger, (one) of yourselves”

[Surah at-Tawbah, 128]

And in another place:

“Now has come unto you light from Allah and clear scripture”

[Surah al-Maa’idah, 15]

सवाल 1 | क्या हमारे प्यारे आक़ा صلى الله عليه وسلم ने इसे मनाया था?

जवाब:

मवलिद जो एक अरबी अलफ़ाज़ है उसका मतलब होता है पैदाइश का वक़्त या पैदाइश की जगह. दुनिया के मुसलमानो के अमल के मुताबिक, इसका मतलब है की पैगम्बर मुहम्मद صلى الله عليه وسلم का इस दुनिया में तशरीफ़ लाना है. चाहे वो मजलिस में हो या अकेले, चाहे वो १२ रबियूल अव्वल को हो या साल के कोई दूसरे दिन. क़ुरान में कंकर बराबर भी ऐसी जगह नहीं है जहां अल्लाह ने इसका ज़िक्र न किया हो ना ही पैगम्बर के अमल में बाकी रहा. ये कोई ऐसा काम नहीं जो सहाबा के वक़्त मौजूद न था और आज चल रहा है. सच ये है की रसूलअल्लाह صلى الله عليه وسلم की विलादत खुद अल्लाह جل جلاله ने क़ुरान, आक़ा ने अपने सहबियों की महफ़िलो में, सहबियों ने (आक़ा صلى الله عليه وسلم के पर्दा फरमाने के बाद) और सारे औवलिया ने में मनाई है. आज तक जो उस राह पर रहा (वो राह जो क़ुरान, हदीस और औवलिया ने बताई) वो मिलाद की ख़ुशी मनाता रहा. अल्लाह جل جلاله क़ुरान में अपने प्यारे हबीब صلى الله عليه وسلم की इस दुनिये में आमाद का ज़िक्र यूँ करता है.

“तुम्हारे पास एक रसूल आया है, अपनों में से (एक)”

[सूरह अत-तौबह, 128]

और दूसरी जगह:

“अल्लाह की तरफ से अब तुम्हारी और एक नूर आया है और एक पाक किताब.”

[सूरह अल-माइदा, 15]

Sawal: Sawal ke liye posṭ 001 paḍhe.

Jawabat:

Milad jo ek Arbi Alfaz hai uska matlab hota hai Pedaish ka Waqt yaa Pedaish ki jagah. Duniya ke Musalmano ke Amal ke mutaabik, iska matlab hai ki Paigamber Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم ka is Duniya men Tashrif lana hai. Chaahe Wo Majlis men ho yaa akele, chaahe Wo 12 Rabiyul Awwal ko ho yaa saal ke koi dusre din. Qur’an men kankar baraabar bhi aisee jagah nahi hai jaha Allah ne iska Zikr n kiya ho naa hi Paigamber ke Amal men baaki raha. Ye koi esa kam nahi jo Sahaba ke Waqt Maujud n tha aur aaj chal raha hai. Sach ye hai ki Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Wiladat khud Allah جل جلاله ne Qur’an, Aaqa ne apne Sahabiyon ki Mehfilo men, Sahabiyon ne (Aaqa صلى الله عليه وسلم ke Parda farmane ke baad) aur saare Auwliya ne manai hai. Aaj tak jo us raah par raha (Wo raah jo Qur’an, Hadees aur Auwliya ne batai) Wo Milad ki khushi manata raha. Allah جل جلاله Qur’an men apne Pyare Habeeb صلى الله عليه وسلم ki is Duniya men Aamad ka Zikr yun karta hai.

“Tumhare paas ek Rasool aaya hai, apno men se (ek)”

[Surah At-Taubah, 128]

aur dusri jagah

“Allah ki taraf se ab tumhari aur ek Noor aaya hai aur ek paak Kitab.”

The truth is, celebrating the Mawlid simply means to thank Allah جل جلاله for sending his most beloved to this world. For the Mawlid celebrations, people gather and remember the coming of our great Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم into this world from the world of souls. People gather and listen to speeches regarding the auspicious birth from the sound narrations recorded by the masters of Hadith and Seerah. The prosperous life of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is remembered and also His صلى الله عليه وسلم beautiful characteristics. Poetry in praise of Allah جل جلاله and His beloved are recited without the slightest sound of prohibited music. The Muslims carry out these acts solely for expressing their gratitude to Allah, جل جلاله the most merciful.

सच ये है की, मिलाद मनाना मतलब असल में अल्लाह جل جلاله का शुक्र अदा करना क्युकी उसने अपने मेहबूब को इस दुनिया में भेजा. महफ़िल ए मिलाद के लिए, लोग जमा होकर हमारे आक़ा मुहम्मद صلى الله عليه وسلم की इस ज़ाहिरी दुनिया में उस रूहानी दुनिया से विलादत की याद ताज़ा करते है. लोग जमा होकर हदीस और क़ुरान के जानने वालो से आपकी विलादत की तक़रीरें सुनते है. आप صلى الله عليه وسلم की मुबारक ज़िन्दगी को याद किया जाता है और आप صلى الله عليه وسلم की मुबारक आदतों का ज़िक्र किया जाता है. अल्लाह جل جلاله और उसके रसूल की शान में नाजायज़ मज़ामीर के बिना नात पढ़ी जाती है. मुसलमान ये सब सिर्फ अपने रब अल्लाह جل جلاله सबसे रहीम ओ करीम की एहसानमंदी के लिए ये करते है.

Sach yeh hai ki, Milad manana matlab asal me Allah جل جلاله ka Shukr adaa karna kyuki usne apne Mehbub ko is Duniya me bheja. Mehfil E Milad ke liye, log jama hokar humare Aaqa Muhammed صلى الله عليه وسلم ki is Zaahiri Duniya me us Ruhaani Duniya se Wilaadat ki yaad taaza karte hai. Log jama hokar Hadees aur Quran ke jaanne wale se aapki Wilaadat ki Taqrire sunte hai. Aap صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Mubarak Zindagi ko yaad kiya jaata hai aur Aap صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Mubarak Aadato ka Zikr kiya jaata hai. Allah جل جلاله aur uske Rasool ki Shaan me Najayz Mazamir ke bina Naat padhe jaate hai. Musalmaan yeh sab sirf apne Rab Allah جل جلاله sabse Rahim O Kareem ki Ehsaanmandi ke liye karte hai.

Firstly, it is important that one understands what the Mawlid actually is. Those who are kept behind a veil tend to have this illusion that the Mawlid is a party in which impermissible acts take place, like music and dancing. Things that were prohibited by the Qur’an and Hadith suddenly become permissible due to the birth of the greatest of all mankind صلى الله عليه وسلم. I assure you that this is nothing but assumptions and accusations. Allah, جل جلاله in the Qur’an condemns such evil assumptions and accusations.

“O’ those who believe! Stay away from much assumptions for surely some assumptions are sin”

[Surah al-Hujuraat, 12]

सबसे पहले, सभी को ये समझना ज़रूरी है की मिलाद है क्या. जिन्हे परदे के पीछे रखा गया है उन्हें ऐसा भर्म है की मिलाद एक जलसा है जिसमे सारी नाजायज़ काम जैसे नाच गाना किया जाता है. जो चीज़ शरीअत ने हराम की है वह अचानक से इंसानो में सबसे अफ़ज़ल صلى الله عليه وسلم की पैदाइश के दिन जायज़ हो जाता है. हम आपको भरोसा दिलाते है की ये सब सिर्फ मानना है और एक इलज़ाम है. अल्लाह, جل جلاله क़ुरान में ऐसा मन्ना और इलज़ाम लगाने की निंदा करता है.

"ऐ ईमानवालो बहुत से गुमान (बद) से बचे रहो क्यों कि बाज़ बदगुमानी गुनाह हैं"

Sabse pehle, sabhi ko ye samjhna Zaroori hai ki Milad kya hai. Jinhe parde ke piche rakha gaya hai unhe aisa Bhram hai ki Milad ek Jalsa hai. Jisme saari Najayz kaam jaise Naach Gaana kiya jaata hai. Jo chiz Shariat ne Haraam ki hai wo achanak se Insaano me sabse Afzal صلى الله عليه وسلم ki Paidaish ki Din Jayz ho jaata hai. Hum aapko bharosa dilaate hai ki ye sab sirf Maanna hai aur Ilzaam hai. Allah جل جلاله Quran me aisa Maanna aur Ilzaam lagane ki Ninda karta hai..

”Aey Imaanwalo Bahut se Gumaan (Badd) se bacho kyuki Baaz Badgumani Gunaah hai.”

[Surah Al-Hujuraat, 12]

The Answers

All praise is for Allah, جل جلاله Lord of all creation. He created the most beloved with perfection, elevated His status beyond imagination. He prepared Him with qualities in abundance, including vast knowledge, and in all, competence. He sent Him as a Messenger to every nation, on a specific day fixed by the most Benevolent. He revealed upon him a book of excellence, known as the mother of all revelation; they all declared His birth, for mankind, a divine form of guidance, surely a great gift from the most Beneficent. Salutations be upon his eminence, and also a shower of mercy, and be it endless.

Celebrating the birth of Allah’s جل جلاله most beloved is without doubt permissible and encouraged according to the unanimous consensus of our predecessors. Its origin shines clearly from the divine book of Allah and the traditions of our great Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as the midday sun.

सारी तारीफे अल्लाह جل جلاله के लिए जो तमाम जहानो का मालिक है. उसने अपने मेहबूब को बड़ी उत्तमता से बनाया, आपका मर्तबा गुमान से परे बनाया. उसने आप को भरपूर गुणों से तैयार किया, सारी चीज़ो का इल्म देकर, और इन सब में मुकम्मल. उसने आप को इस जहां के सारे लोगो के लिए पैगम्बर बनाकर भेजा, भलाई करने वाले के मुताबिक़ एक सही दिन पे. उसने आप पर अपनी तरफ से एक बेमिसाल किताब नाज़िल की, जो सारी खुदाई किताबो की माँ से भी जानी जाती है; सब ने आपकी विलादत ज़ाहिर की, इंसानियत के लिए, नसीहत के लिए नूर, बेशक, एक अज़ीम तोहफा उस रेहमान की तरफ से. आप की नूरानीयत पे सलाम, और बेशुमार रेहमत की बारिस.

अल्लाह جل جلاله के हबीब की विलादत मानना बेशक जायज़ है और हमारे बुज़ुर्गाने दीन से साबित है. इसका ज़िक्र अल्लाह की नूरानी किताब में भी चमक रहा है और हमारे आक़ा मुहम्मद صلى الله عليه وسلم की परंपरा दोपहर के सूरज के जैसा है.

Saari taarife Allah جل جلاله ke liye jo tamam jahano ka Maalik hai: usne apne Mehbub ko badi Uttamta se banaya. Usne Aap ko Bharpor Guno se tayyar kiya, saari chizo ka Ilm dekar, aur in sab me Mukammal. Usne Aap ko is jahan ke saare logo ke liye Paigambar bana kar bheja, Bhalayi karne wale ke Mutabik ek sahi din pe. Usne Aap par apne taraf se ek BEmisaal Kitaab naazil ki, jo saari Khudayi Kitaabo ki Maa se bhi jaani jaati hai; sab ne Aapki Wiladat zaahir ki, Insaaniyat ke liye, Nasihat ke liye Noor, Beshak, ek Azeem Tohfa us Rehman ki taraf se. Aap ki Nooraniyat pe Salaam , aur beshumaar Rehmat ki barish. 

Allah جل جلاله ke Habeeb ki Wiladat manana beshak jayez hai aur humare Buzurgane Deen se saabit hai. Iska zikr Allah ki Noorani Kitaab me bhi chamak raha hai aur humare Aaqa Muhammed صلى الله عليه وسلم ki parampara Dopher ke Suraj ke jaisa hai.

Question 9. The contemporary form of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabee صلى الله عليه وسلم apart from being a manifestation of Bid’ah also encompasses other evils such as the intermingling of sexes, usage of musical instruments and many other such evils. The most abhorring and shocking evils in these functions are the acts of shirk that take place. With hollow claims of "Hubbe-Rasul ( "صلى الله عليه وسلم love for Rasulullah) صلى الله عليه وسلم entreaties and supplications are made to beings other than Allah, namely to Ambiyaa ؑ◌.

Question 10. I turn my lights off and some of my friends keep lights off on 12 Rabi ul awal because we believe it has no significance to our lives – how will celebrating the Milad help us in this life and the hereafter?

सवाल 9: बिदअत के अलावा आजकल ईद-ए-मिलाद-उन-नबी صلى الله عليه وسلم में कई बुरी चीज़े शामिल है जैसे मर्द औरत का मिलना जुलना, मज़ामीर का इस्तेमाल और ऐसी कई बुरी हरकते. इसमें सबसे ज्यादा चौकाने वाली बुरी हरकत वो शिर्क के काम है जो होते है. हुब्बे रसूल (इश्क़ ए रसूलअल्लाह) صلى الله عليه وسلم के नारे लगाए जाते है और अल्लाह को छोड़कर, अम्बिया के नाम से दुआ होती है.

सवाल 10: मैं मेरे घर की बत्तियाँ बन्द कर देता हु और मेरे दोस्त भी 12 रबी उल अव्वल को अपने घर की बत्तियाँ बन्द कर देते है क्युकी हम ये मानते है की इससे हमारी ज़िन्दगी का क्या लेना देना - मिलाद का मानना कैसे हमारी दुनयावी और आख़िरत की ज़िन्दगी सवारने में काम आएगी?

Sawaal 8: Bid'at ke alawa aaj kal Eid-E-Milad-Un-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم me kai buri chize shaamil hai jaise Mard Aurat ka milna jhulna, Mazamir ka Istamal aur aisi kayi buri harkate. Isme sabse zyada chaukane wali buri wo Shirk ke kaam hai jo hote hai. Hubbe rasool (Ishq E Rasool) صلى الله عليه وسلم ke naare lagaye jaate hai aur Allah ko chordkar, Ambiya ke naam se Dua hoti hai .

Sawaal 10: Main mere ghar ki battiya band kar deta hu aur mere Dost bhi 12 Rabi Ul Awwal ko apne ghar battiya band kar dete hai kyuki hum ye maante hai ki isse humari Zindagi ka kya lena dena - Milad ka manana kaise humari Dunyavi aur Aakhirat ki Zindagi sawarne me kaam aayegi?

Question 2. Surah Maidah: we have perfected your religion ... so why do you Sunnis add to religion; don’t you believe this Quranic verse?
