Law: It is Sunnat to trim the moustache. It should be trimmed to the extent that it resembles the shortness of the eyebrows.
It should be so short that it does not fall over the upper portion of the upper lip. In one narration there has been mention of removing it.

नियम: मूंछें तराशना सुन्नत है यह उस हद्द तक तरशनी चाहिए, जो भौहों के बराबर हो।
ये इतनी छोटी होनी चाहिए कि वह ऊपरी होंठ के ऊपरी भाग पर नहीं गिरना चाहिए। एक रिवायत में इसे हटाने का ज़िक्र किया गया है।
