Method of Nikah Fuḍūlī
This is when someone carries out Ījāb with the man on behalf of the woman in the presence of the witnesses mentioned earlier, even if she herself is not even aware, by saying, for example, “I am performing the Nikah of ‘so-and-so’ daughter of ‘so-and-so’ son of ‘so-and-so’ with you in exchange of the dowry (as debt) of 786 INR,” and then the man says, ‘I have accepted’; the Nikah Fuḍūlī has now taken place.

निकाह फुदुली का तरीक़ा
यह तब होता है जब कोई उस औरत के वास्ते गवाहों की मौजूदगी में उस मर्द से इजाब करता है, भले ही वो औरत उस बात से बेखबर हो, कहने से, मिसाल के तौर पे, "मैं फला की बेटी और फला के बेटे का फला निकाह पढता हु बदले में ७८६ रूपये मैहर के." और फिर वो मर्द को कहना होगा, "मैंने कबूल किया", इस तरह निकाह फुदुली हो गया.
