Then the woman is notified, or the groom himself informs her and she accepts; now the Nikah has taken place. The man can also carry out Ījāb. Nikah Fuḍūlī is permissible in Ḥanafī doctrine but it is Khilāf-ul-Awlā (not preferable), and according to the Shāfi’īs, Mālikīs and Ḥanbalīs doctrines it is invalid.

उसके बाद उस औरत को खबर दी जाती है, या तो उसका शोहर उसे खुद बता देता है और वो काबुल करती है; अब्ब वो निकाह हो गया. मर्द भी इजाब कर सकता है. हनफ़ी मसलक में निकाह फुदुली जायज़ है मगर ये खिलाफ उल अवला है, और शाफ़ई, मलिकी और हम्बली के मुताबिक़ यह नाजायज़ है.
