However, in this present time, we also have very expensive woollen wear which are counted as garments of pride. Where is it possible for the poor and the less-fortunate to have such clothing! The wealthy and the influential are the ones who are able to afford them.

Probably the objective mentioned by the Fuqaha and in the Hadith will not be fulfilled by wearing these types of clothing, but this will be fulfilled by wearing a simple blanket which does not have any (materialistic) significance.

मुमकिन है की फुक़हा ने हदीस की रौशनी में जो तरीक़ा बताया है वो इस तरह के कपडे पेहेन्ने से मुक़म्मल नहीं होंगे, मगर ये सादी कमली ओढ़ने से है जिसका भौतिक महत्व नहीं हो.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about The Humbleness of Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam):

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (Radi'Allaho Ta'ala Anhu) reports:

"Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) performed haj on an old pack saddle. On it was a piece of cloth, the value of which was less than four Dirhams. (It may be possible that by 'on it' Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) himself is meant here. i.e. He covered himself with an ordinary sheet. The value of which did not reach four Dirhams. This explanation is most accepted by the respected teachers. The eleventh hadith in this chapter strengthens this). Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) was reciting this Dua: 'Allah make this haj one that has no show or fame.'"

आज की सुंदर हदीस रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) की विनम्रता के बारे में है:

हज़रत अनस बिन मालिक (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हु) फरमाते है:

"रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने पुराने काठी पे हज अदा की. उसके ऊपर एक कपडे का टुकड़ा था, जिसकी कीमत चार दिरहैम से भी काम होंगी. (यह शायद हो सकता है की 'उसके ऊपर' का मतलब रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) खुद हो. जैसे आप अपने आप को एक काली कमली से ढका करते थे. ये काफी उलेमा ने स्वीकार किया है. इस किताब की ग्यारहवीं हदीस इसका सही मैना बताएंगी). रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ये दुआ पढ़ते थे: 'या अल्लाह, यह हज को शोहरत और प्रसिद्धि से बचा.'"

What right do others have to discuss such issues related to these Noble Personalities? Allah is their Lord. He may take their actions as He Wills in which ever manner He Wills. They are His beloved servants, thus they may demonstrate their humility in the Court of their Lord as they wish. None other is permitted to use these statements as a credential. One who uses these incidents as proof for himself is cursed.

अल्लाह उनका रब है. वो जैसे चाहे वैसे उनका हिसाब लेंगा. वो उसके प्यारे गुलाम है, इस प्रकार वे अपनी विनम्रता का अल्लाह के दरबार में अपनी इच्छाओ का प्रदर्शन कर सकते हैं. किसी भी अन्य को इन बयानों को प्रत्यक्ष रूप में उपयोग करने की अनुमति नहीं है. जो इसका इस्तेमाल अपने लिए करता है, वह अज़ाबी है।

The Awliyah E Kaamileen (Saintly personalities) and the Buzurgaan E Deen (Pious predecessors) wore Suf, in other words woollen clothing, and one of the reasons for them being called Sufis is because they wore Suf, i.e. woollen clothing.

Even though they would wear small black blankets on their bodies but their hearts were the Treasure Chests of the Light of Allah and Chambers of Infinite Secrets.

भले ही ये अपने कंधो पर काली कमली दाल कर रखते थे मगर उनके दिल अल्लाह के नूर के ख़ज़ाने से भरे हुए थे जिसमे अनंत रहस्य छुपे रहते थे.

"Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) accepted and attended invitations where bread made of barley, and stale fat a few days old was served (Without hesitation he accepted these invitations). Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) had pawned his armour to a Jew. Till the end of his life Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) did not possess a sufficient amount to release that armour.'"

"रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) वो दावते क़ुबूल करते और जाते भी थे जहा जौ की रोटी बनाई जाती थी, और (बिना किसी शर्म या हिचकिचात के ऐसी दावत क़ुबूल करते थे) जहा बासी वसा खाना पिरसा जाता था. रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने अपने हथियार एक यहूदी केर यहाँ गिरवी रखे थे. आपकी ज़ाहिरी उम्र के ख़तम होने तक रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के पास इतना पैसा नहीं आया जिससे वह हथियार छुड़ा सके.'"

Almighty Allah made the Prophet ﷺ the manifestation of His Zaat (Being), and He granted radiance to the entire universe through the Noor (light) of the beloved Rasool ﷺ, and it is in this sense that Huzoorﷺ is present everywhere. An Arabic couplet says:

You are a light that blessed radiance to the entire universe, as the sun, which is fixed in the centre of the skies, brightens the cities all over the world, as its light spreads everywhere, from the East to the West 

However, what can be said regarding one who is adamant and spiritually diseased from within. The couplet says: If a bat is not able to see in bright daylight, It is no fault of the Sun.

पैगम्बरी की अनोखा पदवी

अल्लाह अज़वजल ने रसूलअल्लाह ﷺ को अपने नूर से बनाया, और उसने पूरी क़ायनात को रसूल ﷺ के नूर से बने, और इसी तरह हुज़ूर ﷺ  हर जगह हाज़िर है. एक अरबी दोहा यु अर्ज़ करता है:

आप वो रौशनी हो पूरी क़ायनात के लिए, जैसे सूरज, जो आसमानो के बिच में है, दुनिया के हर शहर को रोशन करता है, जिसकी रौशनी हर जगह पोहचती है, पूरब से लेकर पश्चिम तक.

फिरभी, उनके लिए क्या कहा जाए जो अंदर से अटल और नूरानी शक्ति से बना हो. वो दोहा कहता है: अगर एक चमगादड़ सूरज की रौशनी में न दिखे, तो यह सूरज की गलती नहीं.

"ऐ जिन्नों और मनुष्यों के गिरोह! क्या तुम्हारे पास तुम्हीं में से रसूल नहीं आए थे, जो तुम्हें मेरी आयतें सुनाते और इस दिन के पेश आने से तुम्हें डराते थे?" वे कहेंगे, "क्यों नहीं! (रसूल तो आए थे) हम स्वयं अपने विरुद्ध गवाह है।" उन्हें तो सांसारिक जीवन ने धोखे में रखा। मगर अब वे स्वयं अपने विरुद्ध गवाही देने लगे कि वे इनकार करनेवाले थे. 

Al-'An`am: 130

"O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

During the days of Muhar’ram, i.e. from the 1st of Muhar’ram right up to the 12th of Muhar’ram, it is best to abstain from wearing three colours:

Black, as this is the manner of the Raafdis (Shia); Green as this is the manner of the Mubtada’een, i.e. words those who are involved in Taazias; Red, as this is the manner of the Kharijis, as they wear red to show happiness.

काला, क्युकी ये राफ्ज़ीओ (शिया) का तरीक़ा है; लीला, क्युकी ये मुब्तदीन का तरीक़ा है अर्थात वो लोग जो ताज़िया बनाकर उसमे शरीक होते है; लाल, क्युकी ये खर्जीओ का तरीक़ा है, यह ख़ुशी दिखाँजे के लिए लाल पेहेनते है.

"Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) visited the sick, attended funerals, rode on donkeys, accepted the invitations of slaves. On the day of the battle of Banu Qurayzah, he rode on a donkey, the reigns of which were made of date palm leaves. On it was also a saddle made of date palm leaves."

Belief: Huzoor ﷺ was the first to be conferred with the status of Nabuiwat (Prophethood). On the Day of Meethaq (Covenant), all the Prophets took an oath to believe in him and assist him, and it was on this condition that they too were blessed with Nabuiwat.

The Prophet ﷺ is the Nabi of all the Nabis and all the Ambia عليهم السلام are the Ummah of the Prophet ﷺ. Each one of them in their respective eras served under the command of the Prophet ﷺ as his representatives.

और उस दिन को याद करो, जब वह उन सबको घेरकर इकट्ठा करेगा, (कहेगा), "ऐ जिन्नों के गिरोह! तुमने तो मनुष्यों पर ख़ूब हाथ साफ किया।" और मनुष्यों में से जो उनके साथी रहे होंगे, कहेंग, "ऐ हमारे रब! हमने आपस में एक-दूसरे से लाभ उठाया और अपने उस नियत समय को पहुँच गए, जो तूने हमारे लिए ठहराया था।" वह कहेगा, "आग (नरक) तुम्हारा ठिकाना है, उसमें तुम्हें सदैव रहना है।" अल्लाह का चाहा ही क्रियान्वित है। निश्चय ही तुम्हारा रब तत्वदर्शी, सर्वज्ञ है.

And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when He will gather them together [and say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have [now] reached our term, which you appointed for us." He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what Allah wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing."

Thus, if this basis is not present, then there will not be any prohibition as well.

An example of this is that there are certain types of dyes (colours) which are fine to dye the turban with, but if a kurta or trouser has to be dyed in the very same colour, or if a shawl is dyed with that colour and then worn, it displays femininity. (In such a case), the (dying) of the turban will be regarded as permissible and the (dying) of the other garments (in such feminine) colours will be regarded as being Makruh.

(ऐसी स्थिति में), अमामे को रंगना जाइज़ है, और दूसरे कपडे को (स्रीत्व प्रदर्शित करने वाले रंग से) रंगना मकरूह है.

Even though, it is better that they (males) should not use red or very brightly coloured clothing. Colours which display femininity should not be worn by men at all.

This prohibition is not because of a colour, but it is because it shows similarity to females and this is the reason for its prohibition.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about The Narration of the Bed of Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam):

Hazrat Imaam Muhammad AI-Baaqir (Radi'Allaho Ta'ala Anhu) reports:

Hazrate Hafsa (Radi'Allaho Ta'ala Anha) was asked how was the bed of Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) in your house? She replied: 'It was a canvas folded into two, which was spread for Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) to sleep on. On one night I thought if I folded it into four and spread it, it would become softer. I folded it and spread it that way. In the morning Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) asked: 'What did you spread for me last night? I replied: 'It was the same bed, I only folded it into four so that it may become softer.' Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) said: 'Leave it in its original form. Its softness deprived me of my prayers (Tahajjud) at night.'

हज़रते हफ्सा (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हा) से पूछा गया की आपके घर में रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) का बिस्तर कैसा है? आपने कहा: 'वो एक किरमिच थी जो दो भागो में मुड़ा हुआ, जो रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के लिए बिछा हुआ था. एक रात मैंने सोचा अगर में इसको चार भाग में मोड़ कर फैला दू, तो वो मुलायम हो जाएंगे. मैंने ऐसा मोड़ दिया और बिछा दिया. सुबह मुझसे रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने पूछा: 'कल रात तुमने मेरे लिए बिस्तर पे क्या बिछाया था?' मैंने कहा: 'ये वही बिस्तर था, मैं तो सिर्फ उसके चार भागो में मोड़ दिया ताकि वो मुलायम हो जाए.' रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने कहा: 'उसे अपने असल रूप में रहने दो. उसकी मुलायमता ने मुझे रात की नमाज़ो (तहज्जुद) से वंचित कर दिया.'

He may do as he pleases, giving whatever he pleases to whomsoever he pleases. He may take whatever he pleases from whomsoever he pleases. There is none in the universe that can overturn his command.

The entire universe is under his authority and He ﷺ is only under the authority of Almighty Allah and none other.

Law: To wear clothing dyed in safflower or saffron dyes is disallowed for males. If it is a dark colour, that is becoming red or it is a light colour that became yellowish, then the ruling regarding both is the same. Both these colours are permissible for females.

With the exception of these two (specific kinds of dyes/colours), all other types of colours; apricot yellow, reddish, light green, yellow, champak coloured (golden) and orange etc. are also allowed for males.

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (Radi'Allaho Ta'ala Anhu) reports:

"Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) was sitting at the grave of his daughter Sayyiditina Ummi Kulsoom (Radi'Allaho Ta'ala Anha) and tears were flowing from his eyes. Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) said: 'That person should enter the grave who did not have sexual relations that (previous) night.'

Hazrat Abu Talha (Radi'Allaho Ta'ala Anhu) replied: 'I did not.' At the request of Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) he entered her grave."

"रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) अपनी बेटी सय्यिदितिना उम्मी कुलसूम (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हा) की कब्र के पास बैठे थे और आपकी आँखों से आंसू जारी थे. रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) ने कहा: 'कब्र में वो इंसान ही दाखिल हो जिसने गयी रात में जिस्मानी ताल्लुकात से मेहफ़ूज़ हो.'

हज़रत अबू तल्हा (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हु) ने कहा: 'मैं इससे मेहफ़ूज़ हु.' रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के अनुरोध करने पर आप कब्र के अंदर दाखिल हुए."

If ever, you have the opportunity of presenting yourself in Madinah Tayyibah, stand four arm lengths away from the Rauda Shareef, with both hands respectfully folded like in Namaaz. Lowering your head, send Salutations upon the Prophet ﷺ with total respect and reverence.

Do not go too close (The reason for saying that you should not go too close is so that you may be protected from causing any unintentional disrespect) and do not look around, and beware to never ever raise your voice there, for it may cause you to lose all the good which you have earned in your entire life.

ज्यादा पास न जाए (इसकी यह वजह है की तुमसे गलती से आपके दरबार में तोहिं न हो जाए) और आस पास भी न देखे, और ध्यान रखे और अपनी आवाज़ धीमी रखे, क्युकी आप अपने ज़िन्दगी के सारे अमल खो सकते हो.
