Law: To wear clothing dyed in safflower or saffron dyes is disallowed for males. If it is a dark colour, that is becoming red or it is a light colour that became yellowish, then the ruling regarding both is the same. Both these colours are permissible for females.
With the exception of these two (specific kinds of dyes/colours), all other types of colours; apricot yellow, reddish, light green, yellow, champak coloured (golden) and orange etc. are also allowed for males.

नियम: केसर या कुसुम से कपडे को रंगना मर्दो के लिए नाजायज़ है. अगर वह एक गहरे रंग का कपडा है, जो लाल होते जा रहा है या हलके रंग का कपडा है, जो पीला होते जा रहा हो, तो इसके भी यही नियम लगेगा. यह दोनों रंग औरतो के लिए जायज़ है. यह दो रंगो के अलावा, बाकी के रंग जैसे की खूबानी पीला, लाल, हल्का हरा, पीला, चंपक रंग (सुनहरा) और नारंगी मर्दो के लिए जायज़ है.
