My Beloved Prophet (Salallahu Alaihe Wasallam)’s beloved devotees, this month is extremely significant in terms of its relation with many Prophets (Alaihis’Salaam) as well as the immense rewards gained by worshipping in this month. This month is also related to a very prominent personality who the Muslim world knows as Imaam Hussain (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu).
It was in this month that Imaam Hussain (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu) endured extreme trials and tribulations with unmatched patience. His family was destroyed right in front of him, which he witnessed without a single word of complaint until finally he laid down his own life in the Path of Allah.
Thus it becomes essential for us to remember Imaam Hussain (Radi’Allaho Ta’Ala Anhu), and to offer rewards, in every possible manner, to him and all those blessed souls who sacrificed everything in the Path of Allah. This would be just one way of showing our appreciation towards them. It is also vital to understand the reason, motive and objective behind the great sacrifice of the grandson of Rasool’Allah (Salallahu Alaihe Wasallam) and his family.
