Any clothing that is worn out of pride is disallowed. The method used to ascertain whether wearing anything is causing pride or not, is to check whether your condition (i.e. attitude) after wearing it is the same as it was before wearing it, or if it has changed.
If it is the same, then wearing the clothes did not cause you any pride, and if wearing them causes a change in your attitude (i.e. brings about arrogance), then know that it is causing pride. Thus abstain from wearing such clothes (that cause this), as pride (Takab’bur) is an appalling quality.

किसी भी कपड़ों को गुमान से पेहेन कर बहार जाने की अनुमति नहीं है। गुमान से कपडे पहने है या नहीं ये तय करने के लिए ये देखिये की आपका स्वभाव कपडे पहनने के बाद बदलता है या नहीं.
अगर आपका स्वभाव वही है, तो कपडे पहनने के बाद आपको गुमान नहीं आया, और अगर इससे तुम्हारे स्वभाव में बदलाव आया है तो समझ लीजिये की इससे तुम्हे गुमान आया है. इसलिए ऐसे कपडे पहनने से बचो, क्युकी गुमान करना एक बुरी बात है.
