Belief: The Ambia عليهم السلام are certainly alive in their respective graves like they were alive whilst on earth. They eat, drink and travel as they wish. Death only overtook them for a mere moment, in order to fulfil the promise of Allah (Every soul shall taste death) and they were then brought back to life again as before. Their lives are even more exalted than the lives of the Shuhada (martyrs).
In this sense, the estate of a shaheed (martyr) will be distributed amongst his heirs, and his wife is permitted to remarry afterwards but this is not so in the case of the Prophets, as these things are not permissible in regards to them (In other words, the estate of a Nabi is not distributed amongst his heirs and the wives of the Prophets are not permitted to marry after their passing from this world).

मान्यता: अंबिया عليهم السلام निश्चित रूप से अपनी अपनी कब्र में हयात हैं जैसे वे इस दुनिया पर हयात थे। वे अपनी मर्ज़ी के हिसाब से खाते, पीते और सफर भी करते है. मौत ने उन्हें सिर्फ इस फानी दुनिया से एक पर्दा करवाया ताकि अल्लाह का वादा (हर मखलूक को मौत का मज़ा चखना है) पूरा हो और वे फर ज़िंदा किये जाएंगे जैसे पहले थे. आपकी ज़िन्दगी एक शहीद से ज्यादा ऊँची है. इस अर्थ में, शहीद की जायदाद उसके बच्चो में तकसीम की जाएंगी और उसकी बीवी दूसरा निकाह कर सकती है मगर नबियो क मामलो में ऐसा नहीं है (मतलब की, नबी की जायदाद उसके बच्चो में तकसीम नहीं की जाती और आपकी बीवी आपके वफ़ात के बाद दूसरा निकाह नहीं कर सकती).
