Law: Silk clothing is forbidden for men. Even if there is another piece of fabric (clothing) between the (silk) clothing and the body, it is Haraam in both conditions.
There are also certain types of fluffy velvet fabrics that are made from silk. The same rule applies to wearing these. Hats and waist-coats etc. made from this should not be worn.

नियम: मर्दो के लिए रेशमी लिबास हराम है. रेशमी लिबास और जिस्म के बिच भले ही एक दूसरा कपडा मौजूद हो फिर भी, दोनों हालत में ये हराम है. रेशम से बने कुछ प्रकार के रोएँदार मखमल कपड़े भी हैं. इसे पहनने का भी यही कानून लगता है. इसकी बनी टोपी और बंड़ी भी नहीं पहननी चाहिए.
