It is permissible to mend broken crockery with Gold or Silver threads (wire). It is also permissible to make use of such crockery, as long as it is not used from that particular area.
As it has been mentioned in the Hadith that Rasool'Allah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) had a wooden bowl which broke, so it was mended with a silver wire, and this bowl was in the possession of Hazrat Anas (Radi'Allaho Ta'ala Anhu).

टूटे हुए बर्तन को सोने या चॉंदी क तार से बांधना जाइज़ है. और यह बर्तन का इस्तेमाल करना भी जाइज़ है, जहा तक वह भाग से उसका इस्तेमाल न किया जा रहा हो.
जैसे एक हदीस में रिवायत है की रसूलअल्लाह (सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे वसल्लम) के पास एक लकड़ी का प्याला था जो टूट गया, तो उसके चांदी के तार से जोड़ा गया, और वो प्याला हज़रत अनस (रदी'अल्लाहो त'आला अन्हु) के पास था.
