With the exception of Gold and Silver, the use of all other types of vessels (dishware) such as Cooper, Brass, Lead and Crystal etc. is permissible. The use of earthenware is the best.
It is mentioned in the Hadith that, ‘Whosoever made the utensils of his home from Earth (Clay), the Angels shall descend to admire it. Copper and Brassware should be plated. To use crockery made from copper or Brass without plating them is Makruh.

सोने और चांदी के अलावा, बाकी सारे तरह क बर्तन जैसे के तांबा, पीतल, सीसा और क्रिस्टल का इस्तेमाल करना जाइज़ है. मिटटी के बर्तन का इस्तेमाल करना सबसे श्रेष्ठ है.
हदीस में यह आया है की, 'जिसने अपने घर में मिटटी क बने बर्तन का इस्तेमाल किया, तो उस मिटटी क बर्तन की तारीफ़ करने उस घर में फरिस्ते आते है.’ तांबा और पीतल के बर्तन को मुलम्मा करवाना चाहिए. बिना मुलम्मा किये ताम्बे और पीतल के बर्तन का इस्तेमाल करना मकरूह है.
